This is a really great bar. It has a speakeasy vibe, with low lighting and soft music. It is on the small side, which I enjoyed. The drinks are great and at a higher price point than the surrounding area. This is the second time I've been here and there has only been one bartender. So, the service was slow. I do recommend this as a pre-date spot.

This is not the place to go to for top shelf whiskies. The selection of spirits was surprisingly poor. The Manhattan I ordered was well made and the service was very good; however, given the sparse selection, I doubt I'll return. Where does one go in the Carmel area for a great whiskey selection?
Oh how I love this place! The rustic ambiance with a small little bar at one end and stacked barrels at the other. Delicious whiskey cocktails for any and all whiskey fans. Perfect setting to have a nice conversation and great time with someone. I keep coming back!

We came here after a bite at Osteria on a Thursday night! Bartender was great and showed us a ton of stuff they had. The cocktails were excellent!! I wanted to try them all after having two lol!! This place is pretty cool. Don't let the fact it is in. Wolfies change your plans to go here...Definitely will return soon!!

What a great place to enjoy a cocktail! We have been to Broken Barrel many times and definitely will be back. They offer a nice variety of handcrafted cocktails and a large selection of bourbon and whiskeys, as well as, other non-brown spirit choices. The staff is well versed and trained with information and answers to all our questions. Shae was wonderful! We love the speak-easy ambiance!
