MCL is doing the all you can eat catfish special during Lent. The fish is delicious, and the servers are very generous with the servings.
We love this cafeteria style restaurant, there’s something for everyone in the family, large portions, good prices, and fast and kind service! Great for groups!

I don't think they care about the people that come in. The food is average at best. No longer interested in just putting something in my mouth, so definitely off my stop unless they have salmon patties. They don't offer their egg custard pies anymore. It has to be satisfying food. I'm not sure the staff enjoys working there anymore.

I tried my first Indy metro area MCL last month on 86th street and decided to do again at another location. I'm not sure why this location is rated lower on Yelp than the other locations when the building is more aesthetically appealing both outside and inside. I found the food better here as well. I like the fireplaces in the dining rooms; it reminds me of Grays in Mooresville. I ordered the Crumb Crusted Tilapia with Green Beans. For dessert I selected a slice of white cake with vanilla icing. Everything tasted good. The tilapia was baked. The green beans here were definitely better than the 86th street location. Service along the serving line was good. It's a cafeteria so you rely on the staff to make your plate and help with drinks. The dining room staff did not check in on me.

The food is good it's just sometimes it could be hotter especially the spaghetti and meat sauce we have gotten cold food there a couple of times I'm just taking the food home to heat it up.They need to use real mashed potatoes, real mashed potatoes are better than instant, anyone can tell you that
We had not been to MCL for years. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a group for eight with three generations. Everyone enjoyed their meal from Cobb salad to Chicken pot pie. Great variety of deserts. Great meeting place.
