Food was absolutely amazing. Everything had so much flavor. We ordered our food mild and it came out perfect with a little bit of heat. On top of that, the service was great.

This is one of my go-to restaurants, the food is always delicious and the service is very attentive. It's always nice and quiet when I dine in, but I also enjoy ordering to-go. Some of my favorite items on the menu are the Manchurian chicken or vegetable balls, and the Aloo Ghobi. The food was so good I only remembered to snap a photo of the crisps they give you when you dine in. Always a 10/10 here!

This is my first time eating at an Indian restaurant and it won't be my last. Everything was soooo delicious. From the vegetable sampler and chicken pakora, to the lamb biriyani, tikka masala, & chicken mahkni, the flavors were amazing!! The food was fresh and plentiful. I will definitely be back!!

Sitara catered for my wedding, and I can't thank them enough for their incredible customer service, authenticity, and delicious food. The chef took the time to discuss our menu for an entire week's worth of wedding events. Each event had a specific menu, and the restaurant delivered beyond our expectations. We received great compliments from all of our guests. They had also catered for my brother's wedding, and since we had a great first experience with them, we trusted them again to cater for my wedding. To the Sitara team - thanks so much for all that you did! Love your food!

I used the Yelp app to order takeout from Sitara, and it was so easy and convenient. My order was ready in about 25 minutes, and it was hot and waiting for me to snatch it up at a table. I took my food home and didn't eat it right away. So this review is based on enjoying the food after it's been refrigerated and reheated. Sitara's reheated food is great! I actually think Indian food is better reheated, to be honest. I currently need to eat very soft things (fie, dental procedures!), so I got the paneer tikka masala, which is one of the softest foods I can think of. It comes with rice, and I also threw in some garlic naan. Everything was excellent. The paneer tikka masala was mild and creamy, and paired well with the rice, which was studded with peas. The garlic naan was soft and buttery, and I used it to sop up the sauce. Each order of naan is two big pieces. Be aware that Sitara is closed between 2:30 and 5 p.m. So plan your visit or takeout order accordingly!

Amazing food! Didn't prefer the lentil soup but everything else was flavorful. We will be back again!

Staying in a hotel next-door to this restaurant. Thought we would check it out. So glad we did. Everything was delicious.

Very very disappointing. Ordered a goat biryani. It had bell pepper and scallions. Who puts that in a biryani! Meat was tasteless. I will never order again.

Nicer ambiance than most. Food we have tried on 2 occasions has been great. Dishes our party has tried- butter chicken ( mahkni ) lamb curry and chicken curry and well as an eggplant dish and garlic naan. Very tasty and spice level as ordered. Definitely our new fav Indian restaurant!

This place was great. It was a nice sit down restaurant. When we were seated the host brought over bottled water, some crackers and 3 different chutneys for them. I had the shrimp vindaloo which was excellent. Spicy but not too hot. My husband had the lamb Rogan Josh which I tasted and plan to get next time. The lamb was tender and very tasty. We also had naan with it. Next time, I think I will go with the garlic naan for a little more flavor. Their menu is broken down into Indian specialties, Tandoori, Vegetarian, Indo Chinese, Biryani as well as by protein. They had an extensive lamb/goat selection. Service was good. My only wish is that they were closer to Zionsville :)

Very good. Well seasoned and respectful of requests for less/more spice. Significant carry-out business. The interior restaurant is very nice. Newly remodeled.

Best Indian food on the north side ?? service was fine, food was great and ambiance was nice. Only suggestion would be to play some Punjabi or Hindi tunes throughout the place. ?

Their Indo-Chinese food is incredible and unlike any I've ever had before! We loved the Manchurian Chicken and Majestic Vegetables!

Repeat customer. I ordered something different this time and it was.... not good. Veg Manchuria and veg fried rice were not at all like you get in India or other Indo-chinese restaurants. Tikki chaat was a joke and more expensive than the grill across the street.
