The orange bread is so good! The food came out quickly so I would assume that they have fast workers! And it is not very crowded so it is very calm and not crazy or loud.

Simple, tasty, quick, and no frills, I like getting 50/50 of the Chicken Maque Choux and whatever else that's on the chalkboard menu that peaks my interest. The bread they give you goes excellent with the sauce that is part of the dish. It's certainly a place for quick eats, nothing fancy, usually can be in and out in 15-20 minutes! Definitely hits the spot however. Worth checking out!

So d*mn delicious!! I literally did a happy dance while eating the food!! Both guys working were great and answered questions about the menu. The drunken chicken is just--so freaking good! It has so much flavor to it. We also got the red beans w/ polish sausage(wish there was a tad bit more sausage in serving), chili cheese crawfish etouffee, spinach and mushroom etouffee and lotsa bread. Portion sizes are big- had to take ours home. Everything was just packed with flavor-even the bread. Just can't say enough! Def recommend. Hope we are in the area again because I'm going to be craving this place!!

I went to yats for lunch today and it was great. I got the chorizo etouffee, which is my favorite dish there, but unfortunately it's not always on the menu. If you haven't been, make sure you get extra bread, it's incredible! The staff and service is great and they even have art from local artists you can buy!

We moved away about 6 years ago and was dying to get back and get some Drunkin Chicken. We had my in-laws join us after I talked it up for 48 hours. My wife and I got our order super fast and the food was delicious! My in-laws ordered right after us but it was taking awhile to get their meal. After about 20 minutes passed, my wife asked the counter if they had an order for Mike. They said they missed it! In less than a few minutes my in-laws had their food and a full refund! They loved the food and couldn't belive the refund. I went up after to order food for later. I got my to go order free of charge! The service is phenomenal and the food is the best around hands down! If you're in Carmel, or anywhere else around a Yats location, you MUST make time to stop. You will not regret it!

Like the place. Have to get there at lunchtime to get the jambalaya. Usually out by dinnertime. Good food.Parking: It okay! Just park in the back lot and come in thier back door.Kid-friendliness: The employee at the register was very patient with the children ordering. Very polite and friendly.

This restaurant simply does not care about service. Ordered 3 meals from Doordash. Every meal was spilled in the bag bc they did not package the food properly. Did not send any rice. Called the restaurant and the person said, “Yeah, we’re out of rice. “ They had no problem charging me $52 still! He told me to take it up with Door Dash. This restaurant should not be on DD if they have no interest in properly packaging their food and delivering what the customer paid for. Also, extremely small quantity of food for the price.
