Ok. I promised a review when we had the most fabulous time at this stunning restaurant 9/21/19. Then Covid happened and our best laid plans weren’t fulfilled. We were on our way back from seeing Falling Waters to get back to MN and had a night stay in this area. We have never had better warm service and felt like friends with the owners by the end. They gave amazing food suggestions, went out of their way to get us the best wine, and were such beautiful souls. Loved the atmosphere, warm, cozy, artistic and fun. The food was incredible, from appetizers to desserts- everything was exceptional and we feasted on the best. Please note this review is 4 1/2 years old and this place is so exceptional, I had to keep my promise to write. I found their business card in my junk drawer which prompted this review. Much gratitude!

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for some time now. In early October I had some friends visiting and we decided to try this place. We got in around 6 PM and were told there was an hour wait so we had our name put on the waitlist and left a phone number with the hostess.An hour later we got a call saying our table was ready. When we got there just a few minutes after the call the hostess said the kitchen was closed. We asked why were we told our table was ready then? We understand stuff happens but why have us come back thinking a table was ready? The hostess simply said that the waitlist was “not a guarantee” and we were turned away. I later called and found out that there was a big party upstairs and so all the food was gone. That’s understandable but the least the hostess could have done was apologize and not give odd reasons.I still want to try this place and I hope to be able to update my review and give a better one next time.

Made a reservation for 11 diners. Was required to give a $100 deposit which was charged immediately to my credit card ( including 3.5%). When we arrived at the restaurant there were no other customers and our table was not even prepaired. The bill included a 21% tip. Not 18 or 20. While the food was okay , overall not a good experience.

Excellent homemade food! Cozy ambiance with knowledgeable staff who prioritize customer service. Several vegan and vegetarian options. Try the vegan vanilla cheesecake for a pleasant treat. The homemade fresh baked bread and tomato basil soup were amazing! Our group will definitely be back.

Very Nice Best Kept Secret In Chesterton. I Live In Chesterton So I Decided To Take Former World Boxing Champ ??? "Angel Manfredy" ? & We Really Enjoyed It. ? Fast & Friendly Service, Great Atmosphere & Very Peaceful Place For A Meal. We Give It 4 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐✌️☮️?

This is a memorable and wonderful place to have dinner. The other guests and the staff were so friendly. When the kitchen was out of one item, they specially made another different menu item without us even requesting it. There was a lovely feeling of eating at the home of a really good cook. We couldn't have enjoyed our visit more!

lived here in Chesterton for years it was decent when it opened and went years ago just went it was awful corned beef had the texture of jerky worst I ever had and hamburger absolutely no flavor definitely won't return
I had an incredible vegan(?) sloppy joe, that was food perfection. Even the bread was not the traditional hamburger bun but much a better variety. Also, their mac and cheese is one of my favorites.

My friend and I dined at Ivy's for the first time tonight and had such a wonderful experience! The service was impeccable - server Jen and the owner were incredible and we felt so taken care of and welcome. We loved the wine selection and our meals - I had the vegan burger and she had the jackfruit sloppy Joe's. I wish we had an Ivy's in Chicago. I can't recommend this place enough!
