Though I'm not McDs biggest fan, my wife is. The place is always clean. The staff has always been great at being friendly, polite, and helpful. Never have had an issue with having to wait longer than average.I personally think the burgers are to greasy so I usually just get nuggets. No complaints on those. So I can't give an unbiased opinion on the food quality.The one thing I do look forward to when we're out and she wants McD's, is the sweet tea. That I can give a true review on for the Chesterton location. During the summer when out running errands I like to stop and grab a sweet tea to have in the truck for the day.Whichever employee who regularly makes the sweet tea does not believe in using sugar or they do not know how to measure. It is a rare occasion to get tea that is sweet. You can tell they tried to add sugar...maybe. But it is not sweet tea. I've basically just accepted that I have to drive to the McD's at the truck stop in Burns Harbor to get a good sweet tea.Occassionally I'll stop here in town for one, hoping they've gotten it right, and am disappointed most of the time.Yes, I know it's a petty review over just a drink. But I was very clear to begin with the fact that everything else about the place is great. I just want some sweet tea every once in a while and not have to drive to another McD's to get it.That is all. ?

Had an issue with the food, heard someone in the back arguing about it, received a burger that looked like it had spit on the top. Never visiting this location again.Kid-friendliness: Nothing kid friendly about McDonald's anymore. No play places, no characters on the walls, and they didn't even have any toy display set up. Looks like an airport lounge in there.

The food was ok. I appreciate the staff member in the drive thru doubling up on my drink carrier without even being asked to, so that my drinks wouldn't fall out. Good customer service.

Not only are they forgetting sauces now, they are forgetting entire meals. Ordered a 6 piece nugget meal for my kid. Opened the box and there are no nuggets or frys, just some weird marshmallow thing and a juice. Not to mention a double cheeseburger is now like 4 bucks. Just ridiculous.

I ordered a chicken sandwich and a bottle of water and it was close to $7 I can't believe it their price is a gone through the roof. I just can't imagine a young family coming here for a meal it would cost a small fortune for fast food. So
