My absolute favorite sushi place around. Have been going to this place for years and still love it. The derby roll is always my go-to. Their house salad is great as well as the hibachi dinner with any choice of protein. Ginger dressing is next level. Portions of food are large. Service is always satisfactory. The restaurant is a nice environment with plenty room for customers. It is a bit pricey but it is a guaranteed pleasant experience & well spent splurge. Would recommend this place to anyone craving quality sushi and delicious hibachi.

They have great sushi, and hibachi is always nice. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because on multiple occasions, I've received dirty forks or plates. Other than that, food and service is fantastic!

This location is enjoyable and fun. The food has went down hill. We tried to call in a to go order. We could not understand the lady and she was very rude to us on the phone raising her voice telling us to order online. We tried and failed three times with the online order getting an error code every time. When we called the lady was very rude and told us to come to store. We did. She yelled at my daughter. We have never been treated like this from a store representative let alone anyone. Sadly I am not sure how they can run a business treating their customers so rudely.

Do not online order, the lady I talked to was a total bitch, she hung up on me after saying that she would check on my online order, she barely spoke English, and she was rude, the food was really good though, but we will never visit this location again, there is no reason to be rude to your paying customers!

This was the first time my son and I have ate at Kansai Japanese Steskhouse. We came on a Sunday evening and it was pretty crowded, but we still got a table quickly. You have a choice to sit at a regular table or on the Hibachi side where they prepare the food in front of you. The food was fabulous, and I do mean everything was! ? Our waitress was amazing! There were a lot of families in there that night with children, but the atmosphere was still good. I live in Louisville, Kentucky and it did not take us long at all to get there. I ordered one dinner and had enough food for dinner and lunch the next day. The dressing that they put on the salads is incredible! We also put some of that dressing in our rice and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back! ❤️

First time going with my wife and friends. We ordered some sushi and it was good. The overpriced entrees were were subpar. My wife ordered a steak entree and it was overcooked. I ordered the chicken and shrimp entree. For being a 31 dollar dish the food portion was subpar and there just wasn't much there to eat in terms of the main chicken and shrimp portion. It was mostly rice and onions. We've been to other hibachi grills and they usually all are good but we won't be back to this overpriced subpar place.

Good food, and seemingly well-run. But they ration yum yum sauce like crazy. When you finally get some it’s in a small cup and you have to constantly ask for more, one at a time.
