Tastes like supermarket ice cream. Nothing special about the sundays. Not worth the time, price, or calories

My friends and I went to The Widow's Walk while on a girls' trip. A storm was rolling in, and we didn't check their Facebook for their hours (as instructed on their voicemail). As we were pulling up, they were closing down to get ahead of the storm it was just the owner and one other person working I believe her name was Dee. The owner graciously let us order quickly before closing down. I got a brownie ala mode with pumpkin ice cream. The description says, "Brownie with one scoop of ice cream". The brownie and the pumpkin ice cream were delicious, and that was the biggest scoop I've ever had. The owner and Dee were super nice and her signs all over are hilarious (if you have a sense of humor). FIVE STARS! If I'm ever back in the area, I will return :).

Very lovely area, it was nice to take a walk by the falls and finish the day with some ice cream. Took my girlfriend there for a day out, very lovely date area. Highly recommend.

If you want aesthtic this is the place to be, a nice area overlooking the river, icecream is fine and you get large scoops for the price, if youre in a rush however think twice! Took 30+ minutes for 2 one scoop cones and with 3 people working!

My husband and I split the large Sweet Jo, which is Butter Pecan ice cream with butterscotch drizzled on top. It was delicious and the service was friendly. Great place to get ice cream and walk over to the park to enjoy it.

Loved the ice-cream and great scenery. We got to see the river around sunset and fireworks at night. The only downside side is that they citronella or bug spray because those mosquitoes are horrendous. They are big and aggressive. I was bitten 20 times waiting in line.

If you would like to overpay for Dryer’s ice cream and be rudely asked to move away from the only shaded area on the premises on a 100 degree day, be my guest and take time out of your day to go here!Notes: all the shaded benches were taken, no other patrons were coming for ice cream, there were no children with us, just a 9 month pregnant woman looking for shade :)

Until the owner changes their hours of operation online, they will continue to disappoint potential customers that arrive after 8 pm. The physical sign out front states 8pm, but those traveling 15 - 20 minutes away can not see that. 9 pm is stated online. When describing the issue to the owner, they were having none of it. Keep this in mind.

Good ice cream at a decent price. Long wait times. Not easily accessible from the riverfront with stroller or wheelchair because the only ramp goes directly into a parking lot, and then you have to walk around a grassy area via the driveway and across or along a road depending on which way you go around, and there is no sidewalk on the other side where the ice cream parlor sits. Not the safest venture for kids because of this, combined with the moderate traffic.

Gosh I wanted to love this place. Cute Victorian house near the state park. But I sure found all the signage unwelcoming and the ice cream mediocre at best.

Walking over to Indiana, it’s always a nice time. Now if you’re hungry there’s a lot of food options. But there are just some days, you need some ice cream. Do if you decide to walk from Big Four Bridge to widows walk, it is a bit of a track to be honest, but you have to walk off the ice cream right? This might be one of the best views of Louisville from Indiana. The old Victorian house is bright, yellow, and very inviting. There’s a booth set up in the back where you can order your different ice cream treats. The menu is extremely extensive from scoops to sundaes to shakes and floats. Your are going to find some thing for every craving. I got the orange dreamsicle shake. It was creamy and delicious. Please do keep in mind, there’s a bit of a wait but it is definitely worth it.

It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t that good or special. The cashier recommended the raspberry sorbet and orange sherbet so that’s what I got. I didn’t think the quality was that good and the flavor was just ok. If you’re walking by on a hot day and need something refreshing stop here but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it. Just ok. But also the view of Louisville was beautiful!
