Great spot - driving south towards Kentucky. Came be sure of prior good reviews. Prompt service. Food came quickly & was very good. Would come back if ever in the area. Easy access from highway, ample parking.

Food was okay. They took our order quickly but the wait for food was over an hour so we had to take it to go. More of a staffing issue.

We live in Virginia, but originally from Indiana. One of the foods we really miss out here are tenderloin sandwiches. Driving through Columbus, we stumbled upon this hometown gem. Rohde's has an awesome tenderloin sandwich. We will continue to return as long as they continue to make homemade food. Keep it simple and make it good!

This restaurant had been highly recommended, however, the food was less than I expected. My lunch mate said his hamburger was quite good, and his French fries were very crunchy and tasty. My biscuits and gravy were completely cold when it arrived. I notified the waitress, she apologized and stated she'd take care of it. When she came back it was the same biscuits and gravy just microwaved which gave it an odd taste. The fried potatoes I ordered were decent enough but could've been fried more and they lacked any seasoning for flavor. The coffee we ordered tasted old and almost burnt and bitter. I'm not sure but maybe this was just an off day for the staff.

Came here on a busy Saturday morning, still received fast friendly service. Food was really good, i ordered the cowboy platter my wife had the ham/cheese omelette we both were very satisfied with the food and overall it was pretty cheap. $23 total for our 2 meals/coffees. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be back! Thanks Rohdes!

We ate here for the first time on 2/21/24, at the invitation of our neighbor. He told us that he eats there five times a week. I found it a pleasant atmosphere and the restaurant itself to be very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had French toast and bacon, my service partner had a ham steak. They went out of their way to accommodate us, that’s something very important when you travel with a service angle. The food was very, very good! Rohdes reminds me of how Columbus was in the 60’s and 70’s. Good food, fair prices and friendly people. Atticus gives it two dewclaws up ??

Ordered fried pickles and they were just okay and the ranch dressing that came with them did not taste like ranch, but a heavy mayonnaise. Next ordered breakfast which consisted of two eggs, hash browns, grilled tenderloin and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. Eggs were cooked well, hashbrowns could be a little more crispy, however they were delish and the grilled tenderloin was tender and juicy, needed a little more flavor. The B&G's were good with a nice spicy taste although the gravy was thick and could have been thinned just a bit. The hit of the show was the powdered sugar and the cinnamon donuts. They were served warm and were heavenly with the piping hit coffee. Will be back to try the lunch menu. Staff friendly and the facility was clean.
