We came in today, and we loved it. We ordered takeout and got fish sandwich meal deals. Over-all the food was awesome, I do wish it was a tad more salty. (Nothing I can't add myself) the sweet tea was superb. It reminded me of how my mother used to make it. I requested a fresh fish sandwich which was coming out very soon. The guy at the register said the ones at the counter were as hot as the ones coming. I said “ok”. He was putting my order in the bag as the fresh ones came to the front. I said “there’s the fish”. With that he threw my order in the trash and started my order over. He was being very loud and rude to me and the others in the small establishment. I was ready to pay when he said “ I don’t want your money and don’t ever come back. I’m serious, don’t ever come back!”. This story will be repeated many times by the customers waiting. I have sent more than enough money to Ye Old Fish House to cover my dinner.

Nothing like a local run fish house to make you smile on a Friday afternoon. It was my first time at Ye Olde Fish House and we will definitely be back for the fish and sides :-)

Just ate a large fish with a big red. By far the best fish in town. Great tenderloins, sides and deserts!!! The owner and team are always friendly. My family has been eating here for years.Parking: Besides the parking lot there is a long grassy area to park. Only somewhat difficult when at busiest times.

My partner has lived here for years and decided to have me try this cute little place in town. I tried it and quickly noticed what i do and do not like. Everything was cooked well, but what I don't like is when restaurants don't add simple seasonings like salt or pepper. Or they don't add enough to where you can actually taste it. Having a big fish sandwich with 4 pieces of fish in it is great, but not if I can't taste anything. I understand that this is a historic staple for everyone in Columbus, but this is personally not my type of style. Maybe it is because their crowd is a particular bunch, and I am not in that crowd, so it is understandable that I would not like it as much as them. Overall, a decent place to go. They have very good desserts that I think come from next door as well.
