I ordered Hot and Spicy beef off the lunch menu. I found 4 chunks of beef and the rice looks and tastes like yellow rice from a box with peas and carrots thrown in. Never will I order from here again

We have ordered a few times from here and they never disappoint. I am highly allergic to anything sesame seeds, sesame oil etc. every time we order we explain to them my allergy. The girls at front desk were great they took my order and told the chef and they came back letting me know that they will not cross contaminate. Very clean very attentive and I highly recommend. Food is fantastic.

The food is disgusting. The Crab Rangoon is flat and extremely sweet, more dough than filling. The rice was hard in some bites and gummy in others. It tasted like they mixed new and old rice together, which would account for the inconsistencies. The rice did not have veggies, and it was yellow, not your typical shrimp fries rice. The rice was extremely oily, and so was the Shrimp Egg Foo Young. The egg foo young was extremely flat and they separated the gravy, which I am grateful for because the gravy tasted like sugar. This was a my first and very last time going to this place. Don't waste your money.

Tucked away in a strip mall type plaza, China Garden is near Straks grocery. Parking is ample and access easy. The restaurant appears to possibly be family owned which, being blunt, I think we should all try to support these small businesses as they are being replaced by more and more chains especially in the area where China Garden is located. There are several booths and tables when you go inside. I see people dining in on a regular basis, in my case, I do take out. Menus are also outside the door on the right, possibly carried over from the pandemic days when this business valiantly kept their doors open and had a very, very well organized process for picking up on the other side of a screen type door - right where those menus still are today. I know as I picked up food there many times and know several neighbors and friends did too as we were determined, like many, to help these small establishments stay afloat during such an alarming time. I tend vary my menu choices, the latest choice has been shrimp chow mei fun, shrimp egg rolls and of course, the ragoons. Especially this time of year, I also enjoy the egg drop soup. Shrimp egg foo young is another favorite. Over the years and to this day (I picked up an order yesterday), the food has always been freshly made, abundant (I got 3 meals from the shrimp chow mei fun which is typical for me from any entree I order from China Garden) and more than reasonably priced. While I have seen other places skimp on food portions , ingredients and increase prices, I have not seen this from China Garden. I see them go the extra mile to provide value and quality. They are all very courteous, friendly and kind. The thank you that I always receive is genuine. All and all, they are a class act and I am glad that I have them as a dining option.

China Garden is a great place for quick Chinese food in Crown Point. The restaurant is a small store front, but there are tables if you want to eat in.Parking: It's in the Beacon Hill shopping center so there are always many parking spaces available.

The owners are very nice. I usually try to go there once every week or two and we have a nice talk everytime. My personal favorite is the bourbon chicken with plain fried rice. I've tried many other items on the menu and they never disappoint. I definitely recommend the teriyaki chicken appetizer, so delicious. ?

just left this establishment I was hungry and when you are hungry, you are usually less picky. The veggie spring rolls were decent but the fake fried rice was inedible. The rice was not fried, It was mushy and smelly and orange. I attempted to call first so I would not have to post this but the owner got irritated and said," I don't know why everyone is complaining about the Fried Rice... well it's nasty, greasy and it smells like you put your foot in it! literally. Horrible Horrible... I would make my work enemy eat this because it would be the best punishment ever. The pepper steak actually tasted like pepper, just no gravy or sauce the meet was touch.. but my jaws got a good workout, and I'm still hungry cause I couldn't eat it. Bon a pe feet!

We did take out tonight and not impressed. The fried rice had zero veggies in it. It was just rice. Same with my Lo Mein. Just noodles and dripping with oil. Spring Rolls were good though, but when we have to add egg and veggies to our Fried Rice, we won't be retuning.

It was some of the best chinese I've had in years! Ordered hot & sour soup, vegetable spring rolls and beef & broccoli. Fresh ingredients, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The soup was the best h&s soup I've ever had. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and tasty inside. The value for the price was excellent too. And very nice people who run it.
