Beth, the server acted as if we were a bother. We were the the only two in the store at 2:15 in the afternoon.She was very and friendly, and when we ordered the dole whip, she said they were out of it. When we voiced her disappointment she could’ve cared less.She needs a customer relations and service.

I have been going to Dairy Belle for maybe 30 years now. It's a favorite. Recent visit, I got my little girl a poodle. It was so tiny, I was wondering if they have a kids size? I'm pretty sure they don't, so very disappointed with the consistency of this product.
I've been going here for the last 2,5 yrs it's always been a nice place and the service was great but not anymore the service is now suffering. My order wasn't correct and this is not the first time I don't think I'll be going there again because of the teenagers hanging out and the foul language I heard that's not what pay for.

I have been going to Dairy Belle for close to 40 years. The location in Hammond on Calumet has been the majority of all experiences. Always great ice cream and service. We moved to Crown Point 3 years ago. It is the only spot I would go to for ice cream. They have a really cute diner look. I tried the pistachio flavor today. I would have rather gone with the family staple of twist with crunch. Always good though!

Love everything I have had here. My favorite - chocolate soft serve in a sugar cone with the 'crunch coat' (nuts, toffee and sprinkles). Yum!

the ice cream was great, but the employee helping me was not. i came in day and failed to receive any sort of greeting, and when i came to the counter, the girl just gave me a snobby look. she rushed me through my whole order then proceeded to mess it up and argue with me whenever i told her i was given the wrong item. i heard another employee refer to her as maybe “chelsea” or ”charlie” before i left. even going as far to give a fake “have a nice day” with a clearly forced smile. she just need more training on customer service and how to be nicer to people. wont be returning.
