I have always loved Lou’s since they opened … we order deep dish and thin crust . Both are delicious.Tonight instead of pick up I did Uber Eats . The driver accepting the order didn’t fulfill it .. but , the manager of Lou’s made sure I got my order . They were so pleasant and helpful . And we looked forward to our pizza which was delicious!! It was delivered by one of their own drivers and arrived hot , fresh and quickly.I love this business and appreciate their staff so much. Thank you so much <3

First experience was amazing. Butter crust did not disappoint. 2nd visit was a little disappointing. Hardly any sauce and tomatoes. That is what makes the difference.

The pizza here is not the same as in Chicago. The pizza always has oil on top. The cheese and sauce is always pulling away from the crust. And now the sausage is just a tasteless patty.

After being told by the employee that their concerns are making sure the food is kept warm over the greater risk of cross contamination by requiring third party driver to bring in a delivery bag in order to pick up the food scares me. Cross contamination can be many things from germs to things that people are allergic to. I had an experience where I ordered an item that didn't come with barbecue sauce on it at another establishment. When I explained how that is cross contamination the manager said no it's not. Cross contamination of any sort is a major health risk. If your company is concerned about keeping products warm over cross contamination then you shouldn't be serving food. Yes temperature of food is important but asking people to bring delivery bags into a store raises the risk of cross contamination. I've been in the service industry for over 20+ years. You want to make this right ditch the requirements of drivers having to bring in delivery bags. I've contacted the board of health about this issue. No other establishments require drivers to bring in delivery bags. They have faith that the driver will do the right thing and put it in a bag. Because of this I will be reaching out to everyone that I know to let them know about this health risk you are creating. I run my own business and I know health risks are no joke. Keep going the way you are and it will look worst.

Lou Malnati's more like Lou malnasty im so disappointed I love Lou malnatis but this location is not it. Our pizza which we ordered well done came soggy and soaked in tomato juice, even putting it in the oven didn't help. Tasted soggy and bland. Service was very nice and helpful. Everyone was great from the pizza delivery man to the person on the phone. Best pizza in town definitely Gelsosmos would not order from here again unless there is some kind of change in quality.

Okay, the pizza is very, very good. I also enjoy their buffalo chicken tenders. You want to know why this review is three stars? Delivery service is the worst. Never on time, and usually delivered over an hour or two hours late. We picked up a pizza last Sunday, and had to wait an extra forty five minutes because four pizza ovens were out of service. They were so in the weeds, they weren't answering the phones. The counter people were nice and apologetic, but that do fix the issue. Better delivery times need to be improved. Stat!

Went in at 2:00pm to order a pizza for 5:30pm. Went back at 5:10 to see if the pizza happened to be ready early. Waited while they dealt with a lady who placed an order by phone whose pizza they couldn't find. I was told it would be about another 5-10 mins on my pizza. No problem. After all, I was early. Went back in at 5:30pm. Pizza wasn't ready. I was told it would be another 20 minutes. Asked how that was possible since I was told 5-10 twenty minutes before and was told they don't know. They refunded me and moved on to the next customer complaint.Don't waste your time.

Very good customer service, went in for my pizza they said it would be a while more was a little disappointed due to my kids screaming hungry in the car and i went at the time they told me, however the cashier, cook &, manager came out to apologize even threw in a free pizza for my family. I would definitely recommend them and keep going back.

Came here on Saturday while visiting my brother in crown point. This location is a disgrace to the Lou malnati name. Lou's deep dish is my favorite pizza around, period. The salad had no flavor and the deep dish pizza was half as thick as the other locations I've been to around Chicago land. I was excited to see locations getting closer and closer to my home, but was quickly disappointed.

Originally they gave me the wrong order, I took it back and thought I was given the correct order. Once home my kids bit into their pizza and there were toppings under the cheese they didn't order again! Called and complained, put on hold for 20 min. Manger then told us we would be given a refund and a gift card. Guess what? Never received either one. Poor service

Not sure why Lou Malnatis is even considered good pizza. I’ve had it in Illinois and in NW Indiana. It was never good. The other place known for their deep dish that starts with a G is the best.
