I got the chicken gyro. I'm from Indianapolis and maybe don't have access to great chicken gyros, but this was amazing. The pita was soft and warm. I love this type of place. The overall atmosphere was great. The gyro was large enough I didn't have room for a Chicago dog. I will definitely be back.

Back up in the region for a few weeks and my wife and I had a taste for a good gyros (no such thing as a good gyros in the Phoenix area). Ordered two from Nicky's and we both agree one of the best we've ever had. Loaded with meat and plenty of onions, tomatoes and tsatsiki. It was delicious! Keep serving up your awesome gyros Nicky's.

Stopped at this place with my husband after picking up our son's birth certificate and ordered the gyro sandwich and Gyro plate with fries a drink and a cheese cup. Spent about $26 for the two of us and the portions were very generous I got sidetracked and forgot to take pictures but the food was good and came out quickly nice little small restaurant with friendly wait staff would definitely recommend. Prices were reasonable and the restaurant was very clean

I've tried five different gyros in the Crown Point area and Nickys is the best. I don't understand the two previous one-star reviews. Nickys serves authentic gyros at an affordable price. I came in today at around 6:30pm and ordered two gyro meals to go. One meal is enough for two people: you get a pile of gyro meat, onions, tomatoes, and two pita bread and two tzaziki sauce cups and a large portion of fries, all for $9.99 The dining area was empty. I was the only customer, but I got fast and friendly service. The fries were hot, the meat warm and tender and nicely spiced, and the pita bread fresh. Portions were huge. I will definitely be back!

Gyros are the bomb here. I've never gotten a dry one yet. I get the platter which feeds myself and my oldest teenager. With still some leftover. Nice people in there as well.
