Stepping into this restaurant felt like a warm embrace from home. The delightful combination of authentic Mexican flavors took me on a culinary journey that felt both familiar and exciting. Each dish was a testament to the rich, genuine taste of traditional Mexican cuisine. The service was impeccable, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us to savor our meal in peace. Amidst it all, the ambience exuded a quiet charm. Without a doubt, this gem earns a solid five stars--perfect for those craving genuine flavors, exceptional service, and a welcoming hometown feel.

Went with a large group. They knew we were coming. They did the best they could service wise. A few orders were not correct. I think everyone agreed the food was absolutely delicious.

Sadly Cabos has completely disappointed us for the past three times visiting. We’re done, and will not be back. Service not good, food was not even edible. It’s sad, bc this place used to be very good and has gone down hill for the worse. We love to support local - but we cannot continue to do so.

It took over an hour to get our food when there was only one other group seated in the restaurant. The portion sizes were absolutely pathetic. The food tasted good, but the staff made no effort to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything. I will never eat at this establishment

The drinks were okay? They did not have a lot of drink choices. The food was okay. Smaller quantities would have been better. The bathrooms were not the cleanest.

UPDATE (5/25/2023): I heard from a friend that Cabos is now under new ownership and is a good place to eat again. Yay! I can’t wait to try it and see for myself. ?—————-I used to love Cabos, but it’s really gone downhill over the last year or so. I believe they had a change in ownership, but I’m not sure. The last three times I’ve been there, the employees were prompt and friendly, but the food was awful. One time I ordered a steak quesadilla, and the steak was cooked to the point of leather - I couldn’t even chew it. The next time, I don’t remember exactly what it was called, but I ordered a steak, extra rare - again, it was leather and not even chewable. My friend who prefers her steak well-done even rejected it as inedible. This last time, I chose to avoid all steak and ordered the cheese quesadilla lunch platter. All I received was the quesadilla. When I asked the waiter about it, he brought me the rice & beans, but not the lettuce, pico, & sour cream. I always give my rice to my adult daughter because she lives it & I’m not a fan. She took one bite of the rice and immediately spat it out into her napkin. The beans were just as bad - they were so watered down they had no flavor at all, and they were so thin they couldn’t be eaten with a fork but only with a spoon. She and I agreed we won’t be going back, at least not for a LONG time. ?

We stopped in on a Sunday evening, and were surprised to see it empty. That being said the service was speedy and the food was good. The house salsa was flavorful with just a touch of heat on the back end, and the cheese dip had a bit of bite that I feel most places avoid. I had the vegetarian fajitas and my wife had their taco sampler. Both are simple, but both are extremely easy to make poorly. But I thought they were seasoned well and was very happy with the experience altogether. We will definitely be back to check out more of their menu in the future.

Literally would not come take our order and stood there talking to friends for over 15 minutes straight. Had to leave after 25 minutes of waiting.
