After many horrible experiences at the Hammond location, this is the one I go to. I'd rather drive a little extra and enjoy my experience, than be served slop. Customer service here is great! They are very attentive to the customer and you get your orser quickly. Ice cream is firm like it shoud be, not melted. I don't know if it's because the Hammond location is so terrible, but this location is fantastic. I hope it stays that way!
I spent some time in NEI in April and stopped at this Dairy Belle several times. Friendly staff and great ice cream & treats. My favorite had to be their vanilla ice cream & Dole Whip side by side in a cup!

It's a great place to go if you have a group of friends or just someone to go with ?Kid-friendliness: It has an inviting atmosphere, so I don't think that taking your kids here will be that hard
