Easily one of the better Wendy's in the entire area. My family was met with a warm welcome at the door. The cashier Ny'elle gave us time to make our decision and was extremely patient throughout the whole process. She double checked that order to make sure we had everything that we needed and it was spot on. The kitchen executed perfectly, seriously our food looked like it was out of a commercial! 10/10 experience and will definitely make this one my go to Wendy's location for the area.

Placed an online order and pulled up 5 minutes after. They gave me the drinks but Food was not ready and asked to pull to the front. Waited about 20-25 mins while staff avoided me and everyone else got their orders. It took a gentleman that we flagged down, that said he worked in the back to tell us we had to walk up to a window not pull thru the drive thru. After those 20 something minutes they immediately gave us a bag with the wrong sandwiches and everything was cold

This Wendy’s is unique. It’s brand new but very different from their typical structure. The dining room is tiny. It only has 3 tables. The parking lot is also smaller than you would typically find. It’s clear they want to focus on drive through business. They even have an outdoor walk-up window for pickups presumably for use when they close the dining room. The menu is exactly the same unless I am missing something.
I have to say I been there twice thru the drive thru late close to closing and I was wowed by the exceptional service! Great job to the ladies that took my order with such a kind attitude! My food was prepped correctly and fresh! I have no complaints keep it up! We need good business and service in East Chicago!

Read it all! I went today during lunch hour and my food was the best Wendy’s I’ve had in a while! My burger was fresh and hot, my fries were fresh and crispy, and the sprite must’ve just had a bag/filter change! I was thanked and got in and out of the drive thru within 5 minutes or so. My points were used with no problem. And overall, my experience was pleasant. I hate that people are so quick to blast the negative but won’t give positive credit when due. People didn’t give this restaurant a chance. They bombarded the reviews with negativity knowing it was the newest fast food spot in the area in a while! People sat in a drive thru line that was already long and then complained about a wait. Give the place a chance for yourselves! They earned another visit or three from me.Dietary restrictions: Healthy salad options for those who don’t want meat, red meat, or bread!Kid-friendliness: Kids meals and plenty of juices kids love to choose from.
