I loved eating here. My tenderloin was big enough to cover all the fries with which it was served. The staff were friendly and efficient, checking on me just enough. I want to go back and try other items on the menu. YUM.

BLT was loaded with bacon and tasty tomato, but not much lettuce. But hey, who gets a BLT for the lettuce? Wife's hand-breaded tenderloin was delicious, and enough for two sandwiches.

Today on Kevin's DinerShannon wanted to do some shopping at the Edinburgh Premium Outlet mall. So after a nice motorcycle ride from Brown County to Edinburgh I dropped her off at the mall. I then set out to find some gas for the motorcycle and lunch for my tummy.Big Red's Place in the old downtown of Edinburgh was my lunch destination. Today's special was two coney dogs and fries. Trust me, I had a hard time passing that up but I did. Two farmers were also lunching there and they said Big Red's had the best breaded pork tenderloin around. So since I had recently tried the Edinburgh Diners tenderloin I decided that I would try Big Red's and compare.Big Red's tenderloin did not disappoint. It was big, thick, meaty and the breading was good and stayed adhered to the meat. It had good flavor and I'm guessing it was cooked in fresh oil. The crinkly fries were hot and crisp, everything that you would want in a fried spud. Washed it down with two cold Arni Palmers. The prices are very reasonable! It was a very good meal and I enjoyed it very much. The service was great and the company of my two new farmer friends was even better.5 Stars for Big Red's......Until next time Bon appetitPs. My next review will hopefully be about salad and water. Breaded pork tenderloins are a little heavy in this heat.

We had hand breaded tenderloin Manhatten with salads. We will go back for this again. So large we took enough home for our supper. Delicious.

Local “hole in the wall” place that you should stop in and enjoy. Limited seating, limited menu….everything was great! We love local small businesses like this.Kid-friendliness: Options for kids pancakes and other dishes.
