Adam's Cake Shop was amazing. A friend and I were coming in to town and I needed a birthday cake for him. They made me a Superman cake and it was absolutely perfect. Fairly priced, ready on time, and Adam even gave me directions to where my next stop was. It was a pleasure doing business here!

The white cake is bone dry. Dust. Makes you cough it's so dry. C'mon guys. You know this thing is dry. Fix your shit. The Chocolate is really good though. Expensive AF. $70 for a 12" round birthday cake. The white frosting tastes like pure lard. Leaves a veneer in your mouth even coffee can't through. Meh. The cupcakes are pretty good though. Not sure why the cake is this off-putting.

Unfortunately 3 out of the 4 cakes I've had from Adam's we're subpar at best, & one was just average. Dry & bland was the problem with all of them. The best one I had still was pretty far from "moist". I can appreciate the cakes are not too sweet, but would still like some flavor. The frosting was better, but still left much to be desired.The cake is definitely something you want your guests to enjoy, and you can just tell when the cake is not a hit.I hate to say this but for basic cakes like this I would much rather have one from Meijer, WalMart, Kroger, or Costco. Smh.I heard years ago they we're better?The cookie I had from there was quite tasty tho!
