We arrived close to 12pm, the hostess was kind and let us know there would be a 30 minute wait. We waited roughly 35 minutes before being seated. The hostess apologized for the wait and was very prompt at getting menus and the high chair for our little. Our experience so far isn’t bad. We sat for 20 minutes and not one person came to our table to greet us or grab our drink orders. The table next to us had been checked on 2-3 times during this wait. Their waitress had let them know she would be leaving soon and would cash them out if they were ready and someone else would be taking over. It is now after 12:50pm and the restaurant closes at 1pm. There were approximately 6-7 tables aside from us, and 2 of those tables had already received their checks. At this point we gather our things and leave as our 1 year old is beginning to become fussy and hungry. We headed towards the exit, the hostess asked if no one had helped us and apologized as we left. Not a great first experience and we do not have any intention of giving it a second chance.

Went to Relish trying to support a local business. Absolutely horrible. We stood for well over 5 minutes at the hose stand next to the Please wait to be seated sign. There was a woman working behind the counter that chose to continue to ignore us along with 2 hotel or restaurant employees and a cook for the restaurant. Finally the server came and asked us if we were waiting to be sat and then moved the sign stating it was seat yourself. The place was a ghost town and now I know why. One other table (2 guests of the hotel). The food came scary fast once we did order. We actually got our food and were done eating in 19 minutes. Partially because i ordered a breakfast sandwich that was so greasy and had an old taste so I ate the overcooked potatoes and let the waitress know I couldn't eat the sandwich. ( She did take it off and offer to get me something else). My husband ordered the same overcooked potatoes, scrambled eggs, overcooked bacon and overcooked toast. Online is showed all these delightful looking sweets and it's PART OF THEIR NAME!! And it was comical. The shelves and cases were empty. I assume they are going to close soon based on this experience and the appearance of the place. Huge disappointment. Don't waste your time.

Wow, Elkhart! Who knew? This hotel, cafe, and Elkhart, in general, pleasantly surprised me. I'd go back on purpose next time.

I don't know if the waitress is new but it took a long time to bring us everything, we had to get up to bring some things we needed. Otherwise everything very well.

I walked in and was completely ignored for more than 10minutes. Walked over to the counter where an employee asked “do you plan to eat in here”? WTH then said she would let I server know I was waiting and continued to let me stand there for another 5 minutes. Wow, then walked over and kindly asked a Caucasian woman if she needed any helpWOW !!!!! It’s really bad that I loved this place but will never be able to go back !!!

The most disrespectful workers I have ever experienced. Money is green no matter who is spending but I'll use my money where I am welcomed and hopefully those employees get the hospitality training that they desperately need. There are many opportunities for work so if you hate your job please do us all a favor and quit!

The waitress Desiree was AMAZING! She was so friendly and checked on us regularly. The atmosphere was chill and the food was even better. Definitely would recommend it. It was a nice brunch with my gals.

This was our first visit to Relish and the service was very nice. My lady and I both had the full of flavor Gouda Morning Sammie's - spinach and cheddar waffle buns with ham and Gouda cheese, arugula, fried egg, garlic aioli which also came with potatoes. Relish is a must try destination for downtown Elkhart. We would like to return to try the breakfast buffet next time!

This is a restaurant in the hotel, the Tapestry in Hilton in Elkhart, Indiana and the food is very very good. I hate there this morning with my wife and two of our friends and everybody enjoyed their meal and said it was a great breakfast service is incredibly slow last night. We had dinner in their adjoining restaurant And it was late and the food was terrific. We both enjoyed it my wife and I enjoyed what we had but again the service was the slowest possible took us an hour and a half to get a hamburger so I'm gonna give this four stars understanding that the servers are great they're nice, but they can't seem to get the food the check or the water or the napkin or the silverware to the table timely. Everybody's wonderful but slow.
