Went here Saturday and ate and got food poisoning. Spent the rest of my evening in and out of the bathroom. Terrible experience. Out waitress that came an took out tray off the truck let trash blow off the tray and she left it on the ground and said she didn't care. Her attitude was unpleasant.

Celebrating 60 years this year, the drive-in is a family favorite for generations. Their homemade root beer is the best there is. A personal favorite combo is some French fries and a big bopper (vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, peanuts, whipped cream topped with a cherry ☺️

Dropped in for a quick burger. I ordered their biggest burger and it was quite tasty. No fries, but I did order a drink. I'd go there again for sure.

Both servers today were extremely rude, I asked for ketchup when I ordered and when the food was brought out I didn’t see it, so I asked if we could get some (I’m assuming I paid for it as the menu says sauce isn’t included) the server was very obviously not happy that I asked, I then still tipped 20%, a few moments later we finish eating but didn’t call anyone to pick up our dishes yet, the other server comes over and asks if we’re done I said yes but we still had half our root beer to finish, she tells me that she needs to mug and insinuated I was trying to take the mug. So I also didn’t get to finish my root beer as she needed it that moment. The entire experience was unpleasant and my husband and I will not return. We both work in the restaurant industry and know how things can be, but it was uncalled for and ruined our experience.

We loved the whole vibe of this place ☺️This summer we have traveled all over northeast Indiana, one in Ohio and a couple in Michigan, going to old time drive-in restaurants, in my husband's restored 66 Mustang that he bought in 1966. It's been great fun. It will soon be mothballed. It spent most of its life in Southern California and does not do winters. ☺️

We had lunch here on their last day open for the season (closed for winter months). The experience is unique, as you can drive up to an order box and eat in your car, or you can choose to sit at a picnic table and order. They have a huge menu with so many choices.I ordered the chicken fritters and they were so crispy with a nicely seasoned batter. Their Root Beer is also amazing, although we were too full from our lunch to enjoy one of their famous Root Beer floats. We will definitely visit again if we're ever in the area.Parking: Park at an order box, or you can park in the small lot and walk up to a table.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid friendly food options
