Guiness and homemade pizza. Two of my favorite things at Tradewinds. The staff is amazing. My wife and I love the place and go as often as we can.

Arrived on a Sunday at 1pm. The restaurant was not busy. Food was slow to come out and unremarkable. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The service was needlessly bad. They had plenty of staff who were sitting at the bar talking. No one ever came to our table to ask how it was, or refill water. I had empty plates on the side of the table to signify we were done. No one came over to give us the bill. After 10 minutes, I walked up the the servers talking and asked if I could get a bill. No apologies. I would not try this restaurant again.

The service was fine, the young woman who was both hostess and served was very nice and attentive. When we walked in, we asked if they what time they closed because it was completely void of customers. We got told it just depended. Could be 6, could be 8. That was a little odd!The food wasn't amazing, their Mishawaka location is definitely their stronger one. My chicken salad sandwich had an odd texture but decent flavor and my family's mashed potatoes weren't super warm.The restaurant itself was dead and had a poor smell. There was music playing briefly which was nice until it went away.One thing we noticed while in was a phone call we couldn't help but hear in the quiet space. One of the employees took a call and mentioned that either they the restaurant were busy or someone else was and took a message. Maybe it's just because our side was so quiet you could hear other people's conversations but it's hard to imagine that anyone was busy at the time we were in.
