Loved this cute little shop! I had the dark chocolate, and husband had cookie butter crunch! We’re sticklers for good ice cream and what we had was delicious! Will be visiting frequently!

The BEST place to get ice cream in Michiana! I love both the unique and classic flavors offered. Vanilla Bean is also one of the only places we've found that offers dairy-free ice cream that still tastes amazing! You can make any flavir into a shake or sundae, which are definitely worth the upcharge. We have never been disappointed in service or product at VB! 100% recommend!Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves all of the toppings; VB will put the cone into a bowl for kids to eat more easily

When they first opened the ice cream was much better than it is now. We don’t get it very often anymore because of the consistency of the texture and flavors. When we do decide to give them another try we are always disappointed. The ice cream has been either icy or frothy for quite some time now. It used to be creamy and full of flavor. We will probably choose elsewhere from now on.

Bought 2 waffle cones and 1 sundae so they Charged me for 2 sundaes then when I told them they removed only 1 of the waffle cones so still paid 2 dollars more than I had to..... after getting it fixed once I really didn't feel like going up

Super disappointed this evening with Vanilla Bean. I went in with my girls and their friends. We had a large order to make. My 5 year old accidentally dropped her ice cream cone while trying to wrap a napkin around it. So of course I order another one. The younger gal working was super sweet obliged and could tell I was flustered. Well then the older gal working walked over and rudely said she could help who's next. So I assumed the people behind me until she stood and stared at me. So I was like oh my bad and proceeded to tell her what we needed. Well we got done ordering and before I could go down and pay the older gal went and whispered to the younger gal and she was like "we have to charge her?" Which is fine I don't mind paying for what I get but then say that to me don't make it a secret. Come to find out apparently that older lady was the store manager and sure didn't act like it when I called to let her know I was disappointed with the service and her making me feel like an inconvenience. Which she proceeded to do on the phone as well. I've never been there and been treated so poorly. The ice cream was good but I don't think I'll be back at least not to Elkhart.

Wow!! Best ice cream we have ever had. So good!! Real deal ice-cream. No handle/nozzle "ice cream" here. We got a flight of ice cream which is 4 flavors served on a cool board just like beer in a bar. Also got a cream pie shake and it was delicious. Skip the whipped topping in the shake. Its a tad thick and changes the shake flavor too much. Highly recommended.

Awesome place for ice cream! I've been to there Granger location and am excited to have them in Elkhart as well. Toasted coconut with hot fudge is my favorite. It's fantastic. Another plus is they always have a good dairy free option. I've never had there desert tacos but I hear they are good.
