Great food and atmosphere, service is usually good. A bit pricey but everything is these days!

Food was horrible was cold when it came out. it took forever for us to get our order taken the waitress had an attitude. when we got our food not only was it cold but it wasn't cooked all the way. went there with a friend and hers tasted spoiled. she got sick a day or so later we think it was some kind of food poisoning.

This was my first time eating here, and everything was excellent! Our party of 5 all ordered different foods, and we were all sampling each other's choices. We also had an excellent server, I didn't get her name, but she was awesome!

We stopped in here intentionally and we're absolutely delighted. Came in at 11:30. This place was already busy and remain busy during our entire lunch. Service was perfect; the young ladies that waited on us were moving faster than a freight train, and always with a smile. This is the only thing I can say about it is I wish they had a Non alcoholic beer since I no longer drink that I took under the bun for my husband and hung out was my lunch. ribbon fries and delicious! As expected Ambience was. Bar style however, the food was not bar fare. This wasn't our first trip here and it won't be our last.

Stopped in after a local referral and was not disappointed! Great prices, full bar and good food. The staff was excellent and accommodating. The tenderloin is clearly the crowd favorite and the menu has options to share which I recommend. We shared and had more than enough to eat. Typical pub menu with lots of Indiana staples like bbq pork. Friendly staff and lots of group seating. Gluten free options minimal but doable. Outdoor seating during warmer months so you can bring your furry friends too.

The breaded tenderloin is a must along with the loaded ribbon fries. The breaded tenderloin was big enough my husband and I split it and the load ribbon fries and we’re stuffed . The food is really good, but I certainly hope we get a different waitress next time . One that actually cares about customer service and taking care of her customers . She wasn’t friendly or caring from the get go. Never felt welcomed. She took our order and got drinks . Then delivered our silver ware , which was one set short and rather than telling us she was short one do to more being washed she said nothing . She brought out our food , but never bother to ask how our food was , see if we needed drinks, or clear the table. We had to flag her down after patiently trying to wait several times as she passed us by. She also reached across the table to hand something to someone rather than going around and handing it directly . We recommend going there for the food , but hopefully the other wait staff are better .

Food has gone downhill significantly over the last few years. The last time we ate there the mini corn dogs were still partially frozen when served. Service is slow, but waitresses are polite.

I was disappointed this visit. The tenderloin is no longer giant, although it is portrayed as such on the menu and the flavor was very bland. The bun was toasted but they put so much mayonnaise on it that it soon disintegrated. I left 3/4 of it behind and paid almost $12. Also I just noticed that there is a "convenience fee" added if you use a credit or debit card. If you choose, as a restaurant to accept credit or debit cards, then you should choose to accept the charge from that bank. I won't be back.

I can't think of anything to complain about. Great tenderloins, good portions, blondie bartender is fast with service, and cash discounts. Worth the drive

TL;DR. Great tenderloin; short menu. Made the drive up to Elwood specifically for the tenderloin and was not disappointed. My wife and I split one with a side of onion rings. It's super cool that offer this on the menu with a nominal fee for a second bun and condiments. The tenderloin is very crispy and seasoned well. The service was speedy and attentive, not at all like others have posted. Our waitress even took our order electronically so it hit the kitchen faster. It's a bar atmosphere which was nothing special which we were ok with. No smoking either. The beer was cold and they serve Coke products.

When we visit Elwood we always look forward to eating at The Tin Plate. It did not disappoint. The tenderloin is so good and so big it’s big enough for two.

They have a giant tenderloin that is so yummy! The service there is very good, we had three waitresses come by asking if we needed anything. Where do you ever get that kind of service!! Great place to take the family.
