Service was friendly and the meat was tender but I didn't enjoy the strong taste of vinegar that overwhelmed everythin the baked beans and the brisket have a strong vinegar flavor that I didn't enjoy

Excellent food, and truly unique for the area. The brisket is miles better than any you can get in Evansville, the sauce is vinegary and tangy unlike anything else in town. The side dishes are unique and delicious, try the brisket Mac and cheese if you like smoky flavors, the Texas caviar if you like black eyed peas, and the corn may well be as good as the brisket. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the location is small and a little hard to get to, but that just gives you an excuse to buy more and take it with you.
There quality of service and caring about your experience is only matched by the product that has been painstakingly created for you taste buds. Hard to find but, worth the venture. You won't be disappointed! Well done Larry.
