Awesome dining experience! I had the blackened fish with succotash and my wife had the small filet mignon. Each item was truly delicious. The service was timely and flawless. We will be back soon.

Our very first visit here... This is part of Bally's Casino in Evansville, Indiana so it would not be fare to compare to places we have dined at in Las Vegas at casinos. We made reservations in advance and were seated right away upon our arrival. The staff was very polite and professional. Our table was by the window with a river view. The restaurant was nicely dimmed and the atmosphere was one of fine dining. The singing piano player in the bar area was an unexpected surprise and was very enjoyable. We started our meal with a couple of appetizers, my wife had the French Onion Soup and found it tasty. I had the Tuna Poke, it was ok but can't say I would order it again. For our dinner my wife had the Prime Rib (which comes by itself). I had a chef feature the Blackened Redfish over Corn salsa. We split an order of Augratan Potatoes. Wifey loved the Prime Rib and she knows her prime rib!!! The Potatoes were a hit!!! The fish was good but would have been helped with a little more blackening and some more viscous sauce. The bread accompanying the meal was fresh but does not come warm to the table. A nice touch was the fresh roasted garlic that comes with the butter. The meal was very enjoyable and filling, service as great! Only reason I don't do five stars is I save that for places that go above and beyond. Dinner for 2 was about $150. We felt that was a fare price for what we received. Nice stop for a weekend getaway dinner.

We ate here two nights in a row. Both nights were as good as the other. The service was amazing and everyone we came in contact with was fantastic. We had the Filet and Prime Rib. Both were cooked to perfection. We also had the wedge salad and it also was great. At the beginning of the meal they served bread with the most perfect baked garlic. The texture was great and the taste was superb. We could have been satisfied with our bread and garlic. Definitely will return if in the area again.

We have been there on multiple occasions and have never had a issue. The servers was very good . The crab cakes were delicious. We got the 7oz filet with shrimp and mashed potatoes. The martinis were good . The atmosphere was soothing with nice music and we made reservations for a window seat and they seated by the window. We will return and I would 110% recommended this restaurant for a special occasion meal .

Food was very good but honestly not worth the money. There market price was a little crazy to me. $175 for 1.5lbs of crap legs with no sides was a little much I thought. But service was great and very friendly.

We loved the soup, salad and entrees. The shrimp cocktail was not good. The piano bar was awesome. We loved the view. The waiter was just ok. When we go and pay for a $500 meal we expect a little better service. He just wasn't very friendly. We were celebrating our 25th Valentine's date together and he didn't ask us if we celebrating anything. It was a let down.

My husband and I both ordered the prime rib. I don't like to see red juice on my plate so I always order well done. Most of the time you are then served an end, which is fine with me. However, it was a center cut that had been put on the grill. It was one the best prime rib dinners I have ever had. It was still juicy with no red on my plate! We shared a baked potato because they are so big and we each ordered a house salad. Everything was wonderful!

Never misses the opportunity to exceed our expectations. Any time we have a special occasion or just want a date night out, Cavanaughs is the best choice in the tri-state. 5 stars in every shape, form or fashion.

We were disappointed in the quality of the steaks, ribeyes.... (tough). Lobster Mac/cheese was dry, Neptune steak was good, prime rib, excessive fat... . Not the Cavanaughs we always looked forward to...

Our meal for four at Cavanaughs last night was sublime. Every course was fantastic, and we all enjoyed our different meals. I had a Caesar salad and a filet with Bearnaise sauce. I also enjoyed a Cosmo cocktail which was made to perfect. My steak was cooked exactly as I asked for it, and it was like cutting through butter. It was so tender. The service was outstanding.
