Ohh man the Nacho Supreme is out of this world!Since the usual Mexican restaurant around the corner just closed I didn't want to go too far to eat. And what a great little gem this turned out to be.I went in. Wasn't busy & was greeted very fast.I knew what I wanted & ordered it.While waiting for my food I made small talk with the waitress... Turns out it's a small family owned cafe type place. The mother makes all her own tortillas from scratch & other things like the chalupa shells to the little dessert pastries. For $12.50(incl tax). I got about 3lbs of nacho supreme that had homemade guacamole, fresh chopped tomatoes & onions to freshly melted queso!I'll be back for more!I can't wait to see what else they have in store for me.This is a hidden gem on GRR!If you are in the mood for Mexican & the line for Hacienda is too long I'd jump across the street for some real authentic food & a lot better price!

I never would have noticed this place in the middle of a strip mall if not for Yelp reviews. In the mood for Mexican today, I had searched through some reviews and found Nachos Grill. The service was very, very friendly. The employees all seemed to be having a good time, singing along with the music, and greeting customers. The salsa and chips were excellent! The salsa was fresh and with more heat than I had expected. I love spicy salsa, and the chips were fresh. I ordered cheese enchiladas, and they were unique with carrots and potatoes inside. The sauce was spicy. Delicious! I would definitely return to try some of the other entrees. A nice experience!

This is the hiddenest of hiddenest of gems, coming here after Church on Sundays is like going twice. The pozole is out of this world and the empanadas are like a hug from your abuela. Thank you Nacho's for bringing home to Evansville

Absolutely delicious. Some of the best food I’ve had since arriving from Tucson, AZ. The homemade tortillas are fantastic. Service was fast and friendly, too.

They lady who took my take out order was very friendly and helpful! Prices weren't bad. But the food itself was very blah and bland unfortunately. This was my 2nd time here & the 1st visit (long ago) I can recall thinking the same of the food then. That'll be the last for me :-/

This is called Pozole Rojo. Pozole is a Traditional Mexican celebratory soup that mostly gets made during birthdays, holidays, ect. It was created by the ancient Aztecs in Mexico and has gotten better since. No more sacrificing to the Gods. The broth is the best part. Growing up in LA this was a special meal and you would get super excited to hear there was going to be Pozole at your friends place for thanksgiving. I decided to check out Nachos Grill on South Green River Road. (under new management). I haven’t been to that restaurant since it was still La Cabana. The outside needs cleaned and updated but the inside of the restaurant was new and very clean. Service was also great since I was the only one there. Lol. The Pozole was delicious… flavorful and how I had it back home in Los Angeles. I can image their tacos and tortas are just as good too. Super rich and delicious… great for hangovers. Pozole is a hominy stew. This particular one is pork butt or shoulder. Ancho chilly peppers are blended with garlic and lime and a whole bunch of spices and things. Base is chicken broth most of the time. Not spicy but you can always add more heat. Literally one of the greatest soups you’ll ever taste. I always squeeze a few lemons into my bowl. Then you have your side garnishes to put in the soup. Chopped onions, cilantro, sliced radish, pico de gallo, limes, avocado, chopped lettuce or cabbage. Most of the time you eat this with a tostada. You dip it… put all the fun things on the tostada shell then what ever falls into the soap you eat that too. You can also use grilled tortilla’s and tortilla chips. I make my own Pozole from home for holidays but sometimes you don’t wanna cook 6+ hours. Lol. I give their Pozole a 10/10. Also I prefer my salsa chunky as it should be… added pico de gallo to my salsa. Give them a try. -The Taco Snob
