For the past 3 years, whenever I have visited this establishment location or the other location in Evansville, the employees have always been friendly and happy. The past 4 visits since February, only one time the worker was polite with good customer service skills. The other 3 visits the same girl at the window was rude and had very poor customer service skills. Also, I have ALWAYS modified my donut order without any problem, a little cinnamon and sugar on top. The employee was so rude and said "We're a franchise now. Donuts can't be modified." Seriously, it's a donut ??♀️? Well... The Midwest is full of franchises. I find it hilarious that all the other franchised restaurants are able to modify orders. However, that's ok. I don't need to order any donuts that badly. It's unfortunate the employees are so rude and unaccommodating when the owner is sopersonable and laid back.. if it's still the same owner now that it's "franchised." Regardless, I won't be back and when I order anything for my office staff, I definitely won't order from there.

2 years ago, I stopped in this random town as I was driving across the country. I picked up a box of doughnuts. Now, I think about these doughnuts all the time. I compare all doughnuts to these. I've yet to come across a doughnut all my life, as good as these. Because of this place, anytime I see the word doughnut, I only desire these doughnuts. Whenever I see a doughnut shop, I look, just to see if they have doughnuts like these. Never have I found a doughnut like these. How many times have I thought about driving across the country again, just to go to this place and get these doughnuts? I do not know. What I do know is that these doughnuts were so good that no other doughnut has ever satisfied me like these. These doughnuts were so good that I don't eat doughnuts anymore because no doughnut can give me what these doughnuts have given to me. Oh, what I would do to have a box of these doughnuts baked and shipped overnight to my home so I can once again satisfy my long-lost craving for a doughnut that has the power to destroy all the doughnuts that I have ever known. These doughnuts, oh these doughnuts, are like a prized diamond, a rare gem hidden. Closely held and tucked away from the rest of the world. So delightful, so sweet, so flaky and lovely are these doughnuts. So much so that if I had to give up all other doughnuts for the rest of my life just for a taste of one of these doughnuts as it comes out from the oven, I would. Sometimes, these doughnuts pop into my mind at random times, bringing me back to a moment of pure bliss. No one goes to a doughnuts shop to be dissatisfied. And no one ever expects to be so satisfied that time itself stops for you to sit with yourself and be at peace with the choices you just made. for these doughnuts, so absolutely completely fulfill the very need that caused you to go into a doughnut shop in the first place.
