First time, waitress really nice and the food was hot and fresh.Don't know what's up with this place but if they change their hours they need to up date the internet...checked to see if open said they were open til 9pm. Placed order for pickup and went to get it..placed was closed.. I call card company and will disputing this charge..

The new owners or new employees really need some help, there is HAIR and FEATHERS on the chicken. Completely not edible in my opinion. Unfortunately this place used to be my favorite and has since went really down hill.

Gizzards we’re spoiled but staff refused to make them good or offer replacement. Got sick within 15 minutes of leaving. My husband’s fish was pretty good. Probably food poisoning. The gizzards smelled bad even.

We walked in and it looked like the employees abandoned the establishment. It was dead silent and no one in sight for almost 5 minutes. Finally, out of nowhere, a man faintly said hello and looked at us like we came in at a bad time. I asked him if they were open and he shook his head, slightly. I ordered the 6 jumbo shrimp with green beans and slaw. I asked for an extra Sam's sauce (like a remoulade) & he said they give you one, but charge for extra. I told him that was fine. My husband ordered the gizzard platter with Mac and cheese & mashed potatoes and gravy. We each ordered a small drink (free refills, but it came in a coffee cup?) We went and sat down in a booth waiting about 5 minutes to get our drinks. It was actually eerie that we were the only customers there at 12:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Our food came out within 15 minutes. My shrimp were huge, hot, and pretty good. The green beans tasted of a tin can and the Cole slaw tasted like the inside of a refrigerator. My husband's gizzards were gross! Both his side items tasted instant and very bland. My extra side of Sam's sauce that I paid for was half full in a 2oz plastic ramekin. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. We went the first time when they first opened and it was great! This place has really gone downhill.
