The food here is pretty excellent. One of the best Arabs food places that I've had in Indianapolis. I definitely think you should also check out the grocery store. The staff here is extremely friendly and it was such a pleasure to have a chance to walk through here. So please check it out if you wanna support foreign businesses

This was apparently the second time I've tried this place. My dad, who lives 4 minutes away from the place told me that I insisted on trying them when I was here some time ago. I remembered having a very good meal back then, and they didn't disappoint this time around either. Decided to go with the family favorite, chicken shawarma and gyro sandwich. These are my very two go-to items whenever I'm trying a new place to test the water. The gyro met and exceeded all expectations but the chicken shawarma plate was the clear winner here. The chicken was cooked to tender perfection with just the right amount of spices to not overpower. Rice had plenty of seasoning and flavors, as well as the side of green bean--I'm gonna call it--casserole. Add the silky smooth toum, I was in awe. I'd like to think I've had plenty of run-ins with Middle-eastern/Mediterranean food and Al Basha comes in at the top 3 of my list. Where I've lived, I've had better luck with Mediterranean side of the style. Most of the Middle-eastern places I've tried had just a tad bit too much spices/aroma to their food to fully enjoy the balance of the dish. Folks with very sensitive nose or palate, whom are not very used to strong ethnic food could be repelled by too much spices or aroma. But I would rate Al Basha all the way up top when it comes to mastering the art of balancing the spices. Of course, I'll have to try some of the the other dishes they offer before I fully get on the bandwagon, but impressing me twice has definitely made me want to sit down and write a review. Needless to say, Al Basha will be one of my must-visit joints whenever I make the dreaded three-hour-corn-fields-crossing drive down to my folks. Definitely something to look forward to. And it's not like I don't have any great Middle-eastern/Mediterranean options back home either..

For great shawarma and gyros, this is the place There may be more diversity in their menu but ever time I go here, I immediately order the gyro because IT IS SO GOOD!

Excellent. We have tried most all Mediterranean and middle eastern restaurants in the city. We find this one at top of our list. Love the attached grocery as well.

If you want authentic middle eastern (or Eurasia) food then don’t come here. The food was incredibly bland and disgusting, it would have been nice if the salt shaker wasn’t clumped (due to it being old) to add to the food. Aside from that, everything was dirty. I’m talking table, silverware, cups, plates, bathroom, and every baby high chair we touched was sticky. We came because it was so highly rated but I have never been so disappointed. Don’t waste your money, time, or hygiene with this place.

Love the Greek Chicken Slovaki (or however you spell it) salad. People that work there are nice and friendly. Gyros are great as well and they are huge.

Good attentive Friendly Service.Impeccably Clean.Great food. Overly Spiced, flavor is spice driven.World Class Falafel Sandwich!-Wet Juicy Tender Chicken Shawarma & Souvlaki. Chicken Shawarma Sandwich is smothered in a Garlic Sauce that tastes great. It's more like a wrap, and actually the best Garlic Chicken Wrap I've had to date (better than the highly rated Byblos of Glendale California Garlic Chicken Sandwich).-Large Meaty Saucy Gyro, little veggies.-Great Homemade Hummus, not too garlicy, good Garbanzo flavor.-Good Tasty Sides & Rice.-Tasty Fries.-Fresh Homemade Pita was Tasteless.I would Recommend & I would bring friends and Family here.

Drove to the Northside to visit Al Basha, as I was searching for a particular type of Greek cheese. We shopped in the grocery area, saw some yummy looking food that I'd love to eventually try. I did buy some Halloumi cheese. We were going to leave but we decided to have lunch at the restaurant. We ordered the Spanakopita and two Gyro sandwiches. Both were very good but the gyros were delicious!! The meat, the sauce, the pita bread! Definitely enough meat for two sandwiches! I would absolutely visit again to try something else, or even for another Gyro! And the better half loved their pita bread - so much so, we went back to the store and he bought a package to take home! Service was great, people were friendly. If you like gyros, they're a must try!!

Wold Class Falafel. Today I tried their Falafel Sandwich & found it is absolutely fantastic! World Class. I for years went to the notorious Pita Kitchen in Van Nuys CA weekly & Hungry Pocket Falafel House on Pico,.... hundred times.... and have had Falafel from many places in CA NY Seattle, Israel, Dubai and Ahmedabad and I can tell you this place is top notch. If you are around here and like Falafel do not miss the opportunity.

I moved outof state a couple of years ago & knew I would miss Al Basha! There is no place like it in Seattle! I was able to visit last month & get the lunch buffet. Everything on the buffet is amazing. Baba Ganoush tasted as great as ever, the cauliflower...I don't even really like cauliflower but they transform it & it is so tasty! Gyro meat, the fish, the salad, lentil soup, were all great! I really love their coconut cake also! I really wanted some falafel also, so I ordered some off the menu (don't judge, I was hungry!). I literally ate everything. I think this restaurant is really a hidden jewel in Fishers. Try their lunch buffet, it is incredible!

If you have never tried Mediterranean cuisine, this option is a must! You can taste a variety of savory flavors in one dining experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy the lunch buffet at least twice a month.I highly recommend eating here as the staff is also very attentive and welcoming throughout your visit!

very rude staff, if you are black or not talking their language they can uses bad words from their own country environment. Exaggeration in prices, bad service, no safety, not clean.

I love Al Basha and keep coming back. The lunch buffet is always fun (unsure if it is still happening with covid). I love the fresh pita and I always get some kafta (meatloaf). My mouth is watering thinking about it. Don't forget to check out the store side. You can buy the pita bread and you should or you can find lots of spices, dishware, and everything you need hookah wise. I bought my ibrik (turkish coffee maker) and the turkish coffee I make at home there.
