Staff is friendly and more than willing to make adjustments to menu items if you ask!Do note that the staff doesn’t speak perfect English so you may want to make sure that you got your order correct and be patient with them. I highly recommend the Ramen and hibachi/fried rice dishes the most. The strawberry peach tea they serve is also excellent even for someone like me who hates peaches!

Excellent sushi and reasonable prices. The best for me are the Las Vegas rolls or the Volcano rolls, but all of them are great. I go here several times a month and prefer it over any other sushi place around. The atmosphere is a little on the minimal side, but the service is great, the people are very nice, and we really, really want this place to get lots of service, because the sushi is that good.

Ordered a sushi platter for NYE and it was our first experience at Okaya. Food is great. We ordered a Surf & Turf, Cherry Blossom & Arizona role. All 3 rolls were great. The staff is super friendly and the place feels welcoming. I can recommend this place based on my first time there and we will be coming back soon

The best sushi in Hamilton County IN! The owners are absolutely delightful and everyone that works there is kind, and courteous. I love the quaintness and the decor, it's so sweet to go somewhere where you know everyone and have the most wonderful service and food. I am EXTREMELY picky about sushi and consider myself a connoisseur and explore everywhere I can and this place is top notch! I have two of my three sons that are more hibachi eaters and they love the hibachi here. They are all thrilled when we go to this restaurant as it's a favorite for them all! My other favorite sushi restaurant is in Cincy... so that should give you an idea of how picky I am and how great this place is- you have to go!I saw a post about it smelling of smoke bc of the places on each side and I am highly sensitive to smoke and I can assure you - we are here often and NEVER EVER have smelled any foul sent and most certainly not smoke! Whoever wrote that review clearly must have had a distorted sense of smell or just didn't want to like it bc some people you can never make happy.Please try for yourself to see- I can promise you a great experience!

This is my favorite Asian food option!!! Owners and staff are super friendly! They remembered us the second time we were there. And the food… ahh so goooood! They were so nice and even made a special item for me. I was struggling to remember the ingredients and they were so patient. Anyway, my ask was the volcano which they have now included on the menu. So scrumptious!Vegetarian options: I saw they added a vegan roll.
