I'm a big fan of Handel's and while in the area we wanted dessert. I had a chocolate waffle cone! The small cones are easily medium sized compared to other places. The service and line moves quickly. The price is pretty good for handmade ice cream

Great customer service, what's even more surprising is that they are all teenagers and usually from other places I've been to they don't have great customer service. But these kiddos have really shown otherwise. Keep up the good work teens!?
I don't even really like ice cream, but the banana cream pie ice cream might make me reconsider my opinion. It's banana ice cream made with fresh bananas, marshmallow swirl and sugar cookie crumbs. Amazing. Handel's has no less than 50 flavors available, with some that are seasonal or available for special occasions, so the menu is always changing. If you're undecided, you can order a 4-scoop sampler, which is small scoops of flavors of your choosing. They also have shakes, sundaes, banana splits, and something called hurricanes. This Handel's location has picnic tables on the side of the building, so you can eat your ice cream outside the shop, if you wish. There is no indoor seating, because this is a walk-up ice cream shop. It's open all year, so during the colder months, you will probably just want to get your ice cream to go and enjoy back at home or someplace warmer. I've never visited Handel's when there wasn't a line. So be prepared to wait a bit. But the people who work here are very efficient and fast, so you won't be waiting long for your ice cream treats.

I recommend this ice cream place for the perfect summer day! It is conveniently located in Fishers with a small parking lot and street parking. There are a few tables as well as a curb to sit on. There is no indoor seating so you will be outside when you order, wait in line and if you choose to eat there. There can be quite the line so be prepared for a small wait but they do try to get orders out asap.

Hasn't changed in 18 years, its just like I remember when my grandmother would take me. Fantastic ice-cream and always new flavors to try. I cannot recommend this place enough. You have to try it to believe it.

I am beyond disappointed with the way this business is run! We are all familiar with government regulations and have an appreciation for the regulations. Shame on them and their disregard for those with T1 Diabetes!! This is the diabetes where through no fault of anyone, the pancreas doesn't work! I wouldn't wish this on my enemies!

First time trying Handel’s and I must say it was pretty good. I have a mint chip ice cream sandwich. This place has so many different flavors. Will be back over the summer. ???
When my best friend moved away, she said the first place she wanted to come to when she visited back in Indy was Handels. She loved it!However, I never really got the hype. All the flavors in my opinion taste quite similar. My dad feels the same way. It's okay, but certainly not my favorite dessert place in town.
