When did they change their queso recipe? Tumbleweed is certainly not the same place as it was when I was a kid, but you could always count on the queso tasting the same. This is no longer true. Don't know if I get a bad batch or if this is the new recipe, but what I got tonight was not tumbleweed queso. Very sad about that.

I can’t lie, the food was very mid. Queso is good as always and I love that damn candle contraption. Service was awesome! Daring was great!! Though she had other tables, she was still very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Her service makes me want to give the food a second try. Just not getting rice again lol.

I had a 98th birthday party for 27 people on March 16. My husband and I were very pleased with the waitress that served us. Everything went off perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. I cannot thank you guys enough.Kid-friendliness: Had a good selection on the choices for the kids menu
Came in, ordered a beer, waited 20 minutes to order food, left hungry. Check out Sam's or El Nopal if you're in this area.

Service was great. Food and drinks were pretty bad. Steaks were very over cooked and drinks were badly made. Our server was very attentive and polite though.

DO NOT GO HERE. First off, we waited an extended amount of time for our food. Then, we got our food and that was literally the last time we saw our waitress. Out of 6 of us, 2 dishes were BAD. My fiance ordered the steak tacos. She wasn't asked how she wanted the meat cooked. There was still blood coming out of the meat and it somehow looked dry at the same time. She didn't take one bite of the tacos because they just looked unconsumable. Her mother got a wrap and fries. The fries were cold. Not even room temp. The meat in her wrap was cold. The manager finally came to check on us after we were well done with what we could eat. We told her that our waitress didn't check on us at all after our food was brought out. Then told her the issues with the food. She had mentioned that the waitress was busy with a large party which is why she came to check on us herself. She acknowledged that the tacos were not up too par at all with how they should've come out and she did not charge us for the dish. She also applied a discount to the bill for the wrap entree. Last but not least, the mens' restroom was atrocious. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Even if it is Papa John's 2 doors down.

Picked up carry out today. Unfortunately it was a bust. They forgot to add our queso to the order and of course we were too far away to go back. Then when we opened our beef burrito deluxe it was the smallest saddest burrito we've ever seen we had two dinners. We paid 40 and tipped , what we normally seen. When we called we talked to someone who wasn't really willing to do anything then left a message for mgr but he never returned the call. Deserved a credit. Pricing and quantity did not match. Saddens me that tumbleweed is now off my list.
We used to love to eat here regularly, but the last few times have been terrible. The servers appear to be pained to be working there and the food takes forever, is overpriced and is mediocre at best. There are so many better options, skip this one.
