Went about a month ago to listen to a live band as one of the band members invited us. The commander walked over to our table to ask if we were members. He was business like but cordial. The service was terrible! We went to the bar area to inquire if we placed our food order at the bar or waited at the table.... the older lady behind the bar was rude in her demeanor and told us our order would be taken at the table and that they only had ONE server and ONE cook so it would be awhile. Then we asked if we placed our drink order at the bar or also at the table and she got very short and impatient and said, "I just told you to wait for your order to be taken at the table." We returned to our table to wait and wait and wait while their ONE server with pink hair went to other tables to take and bring orders. I even made eye contact with her several times, only to be ignored. I went to the bar and inquired about our order not yet being taken and was again rudely told to wait at the table. After watching the server continue to ignore us, I finally wrote down on paper what we wanted and politely handed it to her as she was returning to the kitchen. She finally brought our food and walked off. I returned to the bar area and asked her for ketchup as she passed by me, she waved me off telling me it was in a little side room, indicating for me to retrieve it myself. I entered the side room and there was only an empty table. I returned to the bar and this time made contact with a very nice older gentleman. I asked him where I could find the ketchup. He stopped the server on her way to the kitchen and asked her about the ketchup, she glared at me as she reached on a nearby cart and handed him a bottle of ketchup that he then handed to me. Bottom line, dont visit this place unless you are a member because you will not be treated well.

Great place. People are super friendly, the food is great, and cheap. Got the regular cheese burger, 6oz patty, tasted char broiled, it was fantastic, $5.50.

This post is welcoming to EVERYONE great staff and volunteers. Awesome bartenders and a Commander that really loves his post and patrons. There are always singles dances,food,fun raffles,bus trips,pull tabs,a large ballroom with live music and it can be rented for event's. The leadership here takes pride and fourth district holds many important meetings. Great juke box and pinball machine along side q claw machine. Go here. Get your membership today. All you need is you dd214 for yourself or from your family members and you can join the fun.

This is an EXCELLENT place to hold events or parties. The Legion members were incredibly awesome to work with - they really go above and beyond to help your event be successful. The Legion Hall is a really inexpensive priced event hall and they can cater and have a bartender. The room is really large and they offer you a lot of leeway as to what you can provide for yourself - not forcing you to use their services. I highly recommend using Legion Hall 47 in Fort Wayne if you need a place for an event to rent.
