“Great food and great service . Their food and service do not disappoint. We have not found anything we wouldn’t get again. We’ve went once by ourselves and next time took our friends . They give you good portions for a good value. They have good fish , burgers , cheese curds, and breaded tenderloins. Not to mention they have homemade fresh fries instead of the frozen ones. They do have some family seating, but it is limited .“
“This is seriously delicious coffee. I went in for the first time just last week since moving back to the Fort and was incredibly impressed with just the plain black coffee – the house blend is so solid, flavorful, and well brewed, with (excuse my pretentiousness here for a moment) loads of 'body'. Old Crown is without a doubt my go-to for beans from now on!“
“Not knowing it was St Patrick’s Day, I stumbled in for lunch looking for a good Philly. Irish music was playing, good mannered customers all donned in green and gold having a good time talking and enjoying the “holiday”. The food was on point and the service great. I imagine it’s been 20 years since I moved from Fort Wayne and visited this restaurant. I will not wait so long next time!“
“Such amazing shawarmas here. Was seasoned to perfection and the fries were perfect!! I came here for the first time by myself and sat, ate, and talked with the family that owns this gem. Such A safe space to eat yummy authentic food and conversate with genuine people :) support local!“
“First time I've been here and I was really impressed. Waitress recommended the Italian Grinder, so that's what I got and it was great. The service was great, even with there being a lot of people. We'll being going back soon.“
“We have lived in Fort Wayne over 45 years. Cork ‘n’ Cleaver is our favorite restaurant! The food is always delicious, the salad bar beyond compare, the atmosphere inviting, and the service is outstanding. I would recommend Cork ‘n’ Cleaver for a romantic evening or an adult birthday celebration. Always a treat to eat here.“
“Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff, wonderful drinks. The very first time I went there on Saturday right after we ordered our first drink the electricity went out and half of downtown Ft. Wayne. The staff brought out a bunch of candles in the atmosphere, was so beautiful and unique“
“Got lunch there today for the first time. First, I wanna recognize the professionalism of the two gentlemen that helped me while I was there, I regret not getting their names to give them props. Secondly I got the chicken parm and wedding soup. Very very good! So much flavor. I would highly recommend. I think they will be my go-to Italian restaurant from now on.“
“It’s my husband and my first time here! It seems like a more upscale sports bar when you enter. Best bar rail we have seen in a while! We let Kaitlyn our bartender know it was our first timehere. She was super sweet and had a nice welcome. Very attentive during our time there. The food was good too! Loved the pasta Kaitlyn recommended. Husband said the wings were "freaking awesome"! Thanks Kaitlyn and Pub 1802! Can't wait to come back.“
“We stopped at Henry's Restaurant for dinner and we had a great time. The server was friendly and able to answer questions and make recommendations. The food was hot and made to order. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and offers plenty of seating. Parking can be a challenge when it is busy, but there is a large lot in the back.Parking: Parking next to the restaurant may be tight. There is a large lot just north of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance has two manual doors and a step. Unsure if there is an accessible ramp.“
“I just moved to Fort Wayne and this place is right by my house. My contractor told me to check it out and it was great. The food was extremely good for a bar and the atmosphere was nice. Good Ol'fashioned bar for adults not loud college kids. The waitress was very cool and introduced me to the owner. They welcomed me to the area and I had a great conversation with her. I'm really impressed with all aspects of this bar and it's gonna be my go to place. Exactly what a "Cheers" style bar should be.“
“I can only try to put into words, how amazing Dash-In is! Far prices for excellent food. Service, mind blowing friendly. The atmosphere will make you forget you're even in a restaurant environment. Hands down one of my top. It could be yours!“
“Club Soda is a downtown staple. The cocktails and Smoked Gouda Dip never disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy and unique while the piano/jazz music on the weekends is quite the magical touch. The staff is wonderful and the food is always delicious.Parking: Side street parking.“
“I've been going to this rustic old place for almost 15 years, laid back and friendly. It's been a great place to grab a beer, wine or lite bite to eat since 1895. Still has the original bar stand and alot of the original wood. This bar will take you back to the past.?“
“Had a great time here for their 90s Brunch! I got the Breakfast Tacos which were delicious. That Jalapeno Sour Cream was not too spicy, just right! I also got the Guava Punch which tasted great. The staff didn't seem jazzed to be there, but the actual service was good! Definitely will be back with others ?“
“My husband and I spontaneously tried Wild Crab on one of our date nights. The service was great. The food was amazing. The prices were good. We shared a lobster bisque, a fried oyster po'boy wish Cajun fries as well as the make your own seafood boil combo with snow crab and scallops. Our total was less than 90$ including the tip.“
“Food was amazing. Had the ribs. Server was not the best. Had to ask several times for the same thing. When she picked up the money for the bill she asked if we needed change. Looked at the money and the 2 pull tabs and said nope you are food. I will go back but if she I'd my server I will ask for another one as it was the worst service I've had in a very long time.“
“The food was served a little cold but was really good. Wings, burgers, and tater tots are what I’ve tried. The big guy with a beard and the lady with the blue hair are were really nice. The bartender did an amazing job making an old fashion, it was quite strong. ?“
“I've been coming here for years. since Shelby has taken over, I've had THE best experience. she's a great owner, caring and on top of everything. the bartenders and waitress are above perfect . those girls give you the best service . you can't get better“
“Decent local place for a few beers. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly bartenders. ***still the exact same as it was a year ago, as it was many years ago; A local bar for locals and anybody else for that matter that is looking for a down-to-earth place to relax and have a few drinks away from the busy areas of town.“
“Stopped in tonight for dinner (the buffet) and found all the staff to be SUPER friendly. Building itself is huge, appears well kept, and lovely outdoor areas. Food was super satisfying and the Carrot Cake was to absolutely die for. One of the best we have tasted in a very long time. I would have saved more room had I know it would be that delish! Great job! Thanks for having us! The kiddos had a blast too!“
“Very cool small town bar. Stopped in to check it out because I heard they have gizzards. Unfortunately, they were out but offered chicken hearts as a substitute. Although, I like chicken hearts I doubted I could eat a basket of them and passed. Instead, I had chicken wings, fries, onion petals, broccoli and bacon cheese bites, and breaded mushrooms. It was some of the best bar food I've had in a long time. I also enjoyed some cold Miller Lites to wash it all down. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere, but I think that's one of the things that makes the place. Service was outstanding! I didn't catch the lady's name but she was hustling and taking care of everyone. I'm certain this isn't the last time I'll be there. Check it out! UPDATE: I made a return trip to try the gizzards. They're a no for me. I prefer mine crisp with a crunch or snap when I bite into them. These were more like they were pre-cooked to tenderize them and then battered and deep fried. They're like they have at 9 Mile Restaurant, which obviously I didn't like either.“
“Absolutely fantastic service. Waitresses were very attentive and very quick with greeting, order entry, drinks, refills, and checking back with any needs. We got the wings tonight and they did not disappoint!Update 1-12-2024Came back for our 2nd visit here. Our waitress recalled from memory what we had had from 2 weeks ago without a hitch. Ordered the Garbage pizza (small) and the wings (5 hot teriyaki, 5 Pub), and wow! This place has now consistently impressed with their service as well as their food. Their team members don't care if you are their direct table or someone elses. You are a customer and you need to be acknowledged and taken care of. They make it a priority as well as a point to make sure we were taken care of. Our main waitress Sam as well as Mel, made sure we didn't run out of our drinks and if we needed anything else with our meal. Excellent atmosphere, excellent service, and excellent food!“
“Definitely not your family night out type of bar but a good time for sure at times. 21 and over only, the beer is cold and the pours are worth the $. Not to mention but they have an excellent bar style cheeseburger for sure. You'll need a fork and a knife.“
“Great bartenders, Mandy is AMAZING, they make sure to take care of you no matter how much you're drinking. They've kept the charm of the place while also implementing updates. Looking forward to spending many of weekends at the State.“
“Samantha and Jesse are the server and bartender team you dream of. Samantha was attentive and helped me pick the perfect food option: the CBR sliders. Jesse’s bartending skills are second to none. I’m serious I ended up just sitting at the bar for an extra hour mesmerized by his cocktail shaking abilities. Samantha made sure I threw in a water which my future self appreciated. Both 10/10 people. If you’re looking for a place with a great view and great staff you have got to try Conner’s Rooftop!Parking: Easy most weekdays“
“Great atmosphere, very fun! Paintings and decorations on walls offer different vibes depending on where you are looking, but it all fits together. The space is small and a bit squished, especially with a band and a crowd, but there is still room to sit and move around. We went on a Saturday night and watched 3 bands (pictured is Chewy Lucas) it was a great time!Parking: No spots in parking lot for visitors, have to park along streetWheelchair accessibility: Entrance/exits are wheelchair accessible, but venue is small and easily crowded, so it would be very difficult to move around in.“
“This is a no frills Tavern... But it's clean, very good food, love the Taco Tuesday and the Wednesday pizza special.... The food is always very good‼️ Friendly people there..Parking: Parking is easy when you Park in the South Parking lot“
“Acme has a wonderful vegan menu every Tuesday! We go almost weekly and always get the banh mi pizza, cauliflower wings, and sliders, all of which are incredible!Vegetarian options: Street tacos, taco pizza, cauliflower wings, onion sliders, salad, chili, cheesecake, nachos, crab rangoon, and more. The menu changes weekly but most of these selections are usually there. All listed items are vegan and available on Tuesdays!“
“So, I’m not ready to totally diss this place yet. FANTASTIC atmosphere. Exactly what you want from an old Fort Wayne building. Exposed brick, tin/metal ceiling tiles, groovy light fixtures. Awesome bar, and a lively but not overly loud vibe. The beer menu was great. Cocktails were good. While the menu itself was promising, the execution was not “on” last night. The Totchos were outstanding. However, our main meals (I had the salmon, my date had the burger) were massively overcooked. The salmon was barely able to be cut into, and wasn’t even pink anymore but pure white because it was so overcooked. The burger was much the same. The salad bar was fresh and had a good variety. Our service was just “ok”. Our server was sort of MIA a lot of the time we were there. We were finished with our appetizer before we were even approached to order dinner. I’m going to chalk this up to just a bad night and try it again. We didn’t bring it up at the time because we were enjoying ourselves and really didn’t feel like making a fuss. I know, perhaps we should have but we didn’t.“
“Best Wings in Fort Wayne. My adults sons dragged me there, and now I've been back a bunch. There are other options in town for good wings, I've been to dozens, but these are the best. Also you will not find better French Fries.“
“When are they closed? I don't know either. Friendly bar tenders and always got a weekly special. They got chips and a few other snacks, oh and they got frozen pizza they can heat up too ...If you need a spot to go to kill some time and need a drink, they got you covered.“
“I don’t think the bartender ever told us his name but he was so friendly. We went out for my 21st and started at Corners, ended up crossing the street since it was getting loud. Pulvers has a nice, chill vibe. We all ordered the Lana Banana which was amazing. There was a woman bartender too and she was also nice and made small talk. Overall super friendly and very decently priced“
“Pantry is now open at 12 pm. Food served Saturday from 1 to 4. Sometimes Sunday 1 to 4. Coney Dogs 6/$5. Drink specials daily except Friday. 2 pool tables, jukebox, snack machines and ticket machines. Karaoke on Fridays. Stop by and check it out.“
“Sometimes when I’m alone and lonely, there’s only one place in town that I can go to and feel at home, Curlys. The bartenders, especially David and Shane, are top shelf and make the finest drinks I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this spot to anyone. KissesParking: Good spot to bring a woman“
“Love playing pool, however... seems pool leagues are taking over on the only 4 tables that are provided. Was fine on a Sunday evening, but then Wednesdays and Saturdays were taken as well. Ide like to call to check, but then there's no "voicemail" set up! Mmmm...“
“Went around 6:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy. More than half the tables were available. We ordered and sat down to play connect 4 while we waited. Our drinks came followed by our food. The burgers were a good size and tasted great. The only thing I would critique is the fries. They were just a little too crispy for my taste“
“The Ruin is a hip bar that is definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere is chill and inviting, with exposed brick and cozy seating that makes you feel right at home. The live music adds an extra layer of ambiance that makes for a great night out.But what really sets The Ruin apart is the drinks. The bartenders are skilled mixologists who craft inventive cocktails with top-shelf ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a classic drink or something more adventurous, they have you covered.Overall, if you're looking for a place with a cool vibe, great drinks, and live music, The Ruin should definitely be on your list. It's the perfect spot to unwind with friends and soak up some good vibes.“
“Sooo much fun! Had a blast celebrating with a friend for her birthday. The price was $350 for 2 hours, so divided by 11 of us was about $32/person. That does not include beverages/alcohol that you also have to purchase from them if you want some on the tour, no BYOB. Patrons are allowed to bring their own water, though. Made a few stops at the local bars for bday shots. Great experience! Would love to do again.Kid-friendliness: 21+ Only. No minors.“
“I love this little bar. It's got an interesting crowd as most bars do but it's a small one with mostly regulars. When I go here it's never too rowdy and most of the regulars are nice people who are friendly and kind. The bar staff are just as wonderfully kind and they make that place so much better.“
“This was my husband and I first time dining. I ordered the Eggs Benedict was the best I've had in Fort Wayne. My husband loves doughnuts so the doughnuts with Carmel sauce were a big hit. Our sever Angelica was very pleasant and kept checking on us to make sure we were happy with everything. We are looking forward to returning soon to enjoy another dining experience.Parking: Courtyard Marriott parking very close to the restaurant. It was a nice added benefit that Conners Kitchen & Bar validates.“
