Good service, but seemingly no alcohol in margarita, and food not very good.

Been coming here regularly, however Wednesday lunch by far was the worst food I have ever had here. If your out of spiced beef hamburger than that should be disclosed at time of ordering not improvising and serving with a substitution of shredded beef without informing the customer. Ordered the nacho crispies as I always do was served with the substituted shredded beef without being asked if that would be okay then told they were out of spiced beef hamburger. I questioned the server then sent it back then was informed by the server they now have enough spiced beef to remake my order correctly as ordered originally in which was minimal meat tough and chewy not tasting well. TV was very loud on in the bar not a very pleasant atmosphere on top of unpleasant food.

The service was great but we waited an hour for food for only two people. The long Island was extremely sour. The birria tacos were decent but why were there hot dogs on the Cuban sandwich? The menu says ham and sausage and I don't think hot dogs qualify as either. Overall, not terrible but not great. We'll continue to go to our regular Mexican places.

Poor waitress was by herself and was running the whole floor. Tool 20 minutes to even get our drinks. Not sure where her manager was but the place seems to have a management issue.Food was subpar at best.Would have been a one star but the waitress gave then that extra star. She should go work at a place that will not leave her alone on a Sunday afternoon by herself to wait on all tables.

Was super disappointed to say the least. The environment was nothing special. But I could live with that if the food was good which it wasn't. Sooooo bland! I got chicken and steak fajitas and it seemed like they slapped chicken and steak out of the package, put on the grill to burn, left all the chewy rubbered fat on it, and served as little of portions to you for a high price. So sad when it came out i looked at it and saw 3 little strips of chicken and a small veggie portion i told her this is it? I got a combo with steak and chicken and your barely given me 3 strips of chicken breast, she took it back and redid it. When it came back out no flavor I had to season it with salt and pepper like I was eating at a nursing home with dietary restrictions not an awarding Mexican restaurant that Fort Wayne was proud to flaunt, i remember it use to be so busy you could barely walk through the door! The plate with the toppings, rice and beans -- toppings were little scoops of shredded cheese, plain diced tomato, and lettuce... WHERE IS THE PICO DE GALLO? The rice was so mooshy the only texture in it was the corn had it spit it out cause I don't like it soft like mashed potatoes. It was watered down Mexican food with soupy tomato juice for salsa which was supposed to be their spicy. The passion is gone from this little Mexican restaurant the only thing they have going for them are their expensive margiritas which were pretty standard that you could get at any local restaurant. Honestly save your money not worth the hype it use to have. There are way better options in Fort Wayne than poor El Azteca. Won't be an option for us again. Hopefully this gets to someone that can change it around.
