The store used to offer a "you buy , we fry " Raw state sale where snap customers could also partake in the take home sensation that is s Krispy crunchy chicken . This option has since recently become taken out. Or lack there of options .Over all its. Didn't know the menu and rushed to buy... chicken was old and cold. Red beans and rice taste like it had poison in it and when I asked for hot sauce, ketchup or ranch. They just looked at me crazy...NEVER AGAIN but hey it's gas station chicken owned by

Always wanted to try this place because I heard it was good. Their hours are whatever they feel like, not accurate on the sign or online. Tried 3 days in a row and finally got a 2 piece order with biscuit and it was gross. Everything was too dry and salty.

I would've given this a little bit lower from my last couple of experiences there but I've had such a good history previously that I'm going to give it three stars.I've been going to this location of this franchise for years and we've always been very satisfied. However the last couple of times we've been there this place is really sliding downhill. Besides the fact that it's consistently dirty, the soda machine advertises "no ice, no cups, just soda", but the food itself is now suffering. I went to ask for a mixed box of all the pieces and the guy told me "no white meat". He didn't really bother to explain why I was confused so he ended up explaining the fact that they no longer carry white meat only dark meat. But they do have chicken tenders which are made of white meat which makes it even more confusing. He didn't say the route, he said that they just don't carry white meat anymore. so I got an order of chicken tenders and he said he would substitute out the lack of white meat with dark meat. That said, I was not made aware that he wasn't going to give me any wings. So I came home with legs and thighs which I don't like either. And make it worse, he charged me for a regular chicken with white meat instead of charging me the discounted dark meat combo, and he did it on purpose. So on top of all that I had to buy an extra chicken tenders just to get some white meat so my bill was probably double what it should've been. It really does break my heart because this was at one point the best fast fried chicken in the area even if it's in the gas station, but we won't be going back. Hope someone lets me know if things change otherwise we'll be on the lookout for something new.

Ordered an 8 piece mixed chicken, Okra and a Sprite. Waited a hour for my food and was delivered Okra and a Sprite, no chicken. Called the restaurant and without notice, they cancelled my chicken order because they had no mixed chicken lol the name of the establishment is Krunchy Chicken lol Okra wasn't fresh either.

I went to the location in Hinsdale because at other locations I remember it being top tier! Just the right amount of seasoning & crunch . However , the chicken here was extremely salty as well as the jambalaya. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it . I did rate it a 3 but would've higher just off of the employees ! They deserve a 5 star because they are awesome , helpful, and u can tell they build a rapport with customers . As for me , I think my Krispy Krunchy chicken days are over .

A friend worked there. Tonight I chowed down on 4 piece dark, with mashed potatoes and gravy. The included corn bread was so delicious, needed no butter. I hate to say it, but better than my own cooking.
i've been told this place was great so i decided to give it a try as i had a group of people over. first, they completely forgot TWO of our combos. so now 2 of us went without food. the chicken we did get was dry and was over cooked on some pieces. it tasted ok and the biscuits were good but way too overhyped for the results we got.

This is some of the most disgusting food I have ever paid for. I ordered through Uber Eats and I was brought cold jambalaya with zero flavor even after I warmed it up, , half raw chicken, bland potato wedges even though I ordered fries, and "biscuits" coated in a weird slimy something. Obviously, I will never be a repeat customer.

Don't make the same mistake I did and avoid Krispy Krunchy because it's attached to a gas station. It is extremely underrated, a good value, and consistently delivers for us. We usually get the tenders and I will say while it lacks some of the robust seasoning that other chain chicken restaurants might have, the chicken you get is thick and usually very tasty. We always order right when we get there which is helpful because usually they're dropping fresh stuff for us. Their biscuits are also honey biscuits and cannot be passed up! I'd say if you're ever in a situation where you just have to choose one item, get the biscuits because they are delicious. Fries are also pretty thick and nicely crisped!
