Great local hangout with delicious beer! I have been frequenting Hop River since they opened and it's a really nice spot to meet up with friends. Their beers are delicious (as an IPA fan I really like the You Only Hop Twice) and the food is great too - don't sleep on the loaded tots! They have yummy vegan options as well, not just salad! The taproom has lots of seats and they have board games and pinball machines for fun, and they host events and weekly activities like trivia.

Easy to find just north of downtown. Solid amount of parking to be had with plenty of signage.Friendly people greeted me as soon as I walked in to this huge space. Multitudes of tables and a very long - easily 50' - bar that overlooks the brewing area and the 20 taps of in-house beer.Lots of board games to help you pace your imbibing and food is available, as well.The beer is very good, among the best in the area.Music is too loud, intrudes on conversation.

It was my first date with a lady. There were maybe another 10 people max. So it wasn't even crowded. I've ordered the food. They have pretty limited food. After 45 minutes of waiting, I had to go and ask about the food. And another 5 minute later the guy came to our table and said he forgot to order the food. Man, you have only 2 tasks, when you get a drink order you serve it, when you get a food order you forward it to the kitchen. Very simple. Well, not for everyone it seems.

Best brewery in town! Try the current variation of hot pepper beer and get delicious food. Great tunes (almost every night), and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had a party of about 12 on Friday night. Everyone had a great time. The food was really good as were the adult beverages. Casual atmosphere makes it easy to mingle and socialize. Parking is ample, but a bit rough especially if mobility impaired.

Excellent beer; thoroughly good hazys with great use of mosaic. Love that they currently had a chili beer. Nice space, and very friendly staff. Two things that put us off however; no prices to be found on any of the beer; just order it and find out. And on a lazy Sunday with mostly older adults, nothing but gangsta rap on the stereo. We're no strangers to foul language, but this was just a solid hour of vile music.

Great place to stop for a drink and some food. Really liked the atmosphere outside on the patio and in the bar itself, plus the food came out really fast and the drinks selection was really good too. It was a little tough understanding how to get into the place but that's mainly because of the route I took. I also liked that they had a wide selection of to go beers ready for you in the cooler. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Fort Wayne.
