Look, you know it's bad when they can't even get the chips and salsa right ... Stale chips, was brought a previously used partial salsa, the hot salsa container had a broken lid on it, boneless wings were puny and all breading and the tacos were nasty. Left an aftertaste that was not pleasant. Hardly any clean seating when we walked in.

Decent place bartender was rude! Ignored us, then when we spoke up she got snippy about sitting at the bar. We got our menus and I was clearly ready to order. Staring her down and still got ignored. We left. We were there minimum 30 mins. No drinks. No food.

I haven't been in a while, but in the past the food has been good, the service and cleanliness wasn't the greatest, but hopefully it has improved. The portions seem to keep getting smaller and smaller as well. The southeast location was much better in my opinion. Sad that it closed.
On 8-12-21 my husband and I and 2 other couples decided to go to Kaysans for our weekly night out. My hubby and I have been Kaysans customers for over 43 years, all the way back to the Decatur Road location days. I realize it is not as good as it was when John and Kay ran it but the food was still usually pretty good.I ordered the Grande Burrito. I saw that it had lettuce and sour cream in it but that did not connect in my brain because online it did not mention that fact. When I got my food I noticed no lettuce and Sour cream on it. Was going to ignore that, then I cut into it and found it. The water from the lettuce flooded the plate. Totally ruined the food. I almost asked for papertowel to soak up all the water then I said something to the waitress. The waitress immediately said that was what was on the menu. She got the manager/owner and the first thing John Jr. Did was take our picture then tell us he would take the horrible food off our bill and the had the audacity to BAN ALL 6 of us from his restaurant. He never even asked if there was anything else he could do. Man he really needs a chill pill. I have to say as much as the food quality has gone down hill it is no great loss on our part.

Apparently the kitchen closes over an hour prior to the closing time listed. Showed up tonight to order some food at 1050 and was told the kitchen was closed.

Service is excellent and the establishment seems very friendly and warm.Sadly the food was left some to be desired.Refried Beans - ExcellentCheese and Bean dip - ExcellentSalsa - A little bland for the spice heads.The enchiladas were what really let me down.Pros - Large portion, well put together, not falling apart.Cons - Dry, No real flavor, No spice.I'll return to try other entrees on the menu. But I'm steering clear of the Mexican side of things in the future.

Service is beyond slow today we sat and waited 15 mins and still have not been greeted, the server had only 4 tables in which our table was the 4th only 12 people in the building as we speak, luckily the bartender came to the rescue as we were just getting up to leave. She was very attentive and gave us excellent service.
