Breakfast food was good and piping hot. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean. Would definitely go back again to try other food from here. Overall a very good experience.

Love this place. Friendly neighborhood cafe with good old home cooking. Great burgers and soups. The specials are great too.

During previous visits, I've always ordered breakfast (which is ALWAYS great), but this time, I ordered the Jalapeño Burger (waitress Sandy's fav), and it was delicious with just the right amount of kick. Highly recommend this mom and pops restaurant for breakfast or lunch!! Kudos to the cook!!!

Super cute place. Sad we didn't get to try the food. We came in on Saturday, February 3rd around 11/11:30. It was around 75% full. We were seated right away but, that was it. We sat for around 20 minutes and no one ever came to our table so, we left. I would have been fine if someone would have just told us that there would be a wait for a server but, there was no communication.

Had such a great breakfast here with a larger group and truly loved the whole experience. Our server not only was super attentive with lots of coffee and water refills, but went above and beyond with my order. I should get to the order, and boy howdy was the breakfast good. I love the concept of the breakfast bowl and mine had house made corned beef and hash, with onions and peppers and swiss with eggs on top. I opted for a side of turtle pancakes, and when they came out, they were missing the turtle topping and the server kindly noticed and said "let me make sure to get those turtled up for you." Went back into the kitchen themselves and turtled up the pancakes. So kind and such a great topping. My 5 others in my party loved the food and the coffee as well. We end up eating at a lot of places together and this was as standout from great food and great service.

#2 stop for the biscuits and gravy challenge led me to Willie's on North Anthony by Wooden Nickel.Willies doesn't regularly offer a half order of biscuits and gravy. Their full order is two full biscuits with gravy and two eggs for $8.99.They sometimes have a daily deal that is off menu, which I asked for today. It's a half order of biscuits and gravy with sausage or bacon and two eggs any style for $7.99.The three strips of bacon were nice and crispy without being overdone. I asked for my two eggs over easy. They were pretty close, but a little bit over. And now for the reason you're actually here. This biscuits and gravy is beyond similar to the one I had this weekend in a previous post. The biscuit was spongy, but not flaky at all. The gravy wasn't bad, and it was plenty meaty, but not anything all that exciting.I did talk to one of the kitchen guys and he said they break up fresh sausage in their gravy. I don't know if that means they are using pre-made gravy, but it kind of sounds like it.I told him I really miss the silky smooth gravy from when they were in the previous location. It's nowhere near the same flavor or quality. The breakfast here is really good and a decent value. I just think they miss the mark for the standalone biscuits and gravy.Every time I've eaten here, everything comes out hot and fresh. I really like their all meat skillet with gravy on top.I have not had any of the lunch foods here, so I have no input on that.#onforkstoforks #foodie #biscuitsandgravy

Today was my first ever visit to Willie's. Everything was perfect! Our waitress Monica was fantastic. I got a club wrap with Fries. The wrap was hugh! The fries were hot and fresh. My mom got breakfast and said it was wonderful. Upon leaving we asked for the dessert Menu....unfortunately this location doesn't have the pies the food writer recently wrote about. But that's OK. The food was worth the trip. Our waitress said they have had several people leave because they don't have pie. (That's at a seperate location and also only when peaches are in season). Can't wait for our next visit. Even though they don't have (peach) pie). Thanks Monica for your wonderful service and patience while explaining that you don't have pie! ?Check them out regardless, you won't be disappointed!Vegetarian options: They offered several salad optionsKid-friendliness: We didnt have kids with us, but I did notice a kid friendly menu!Wheelchair accessibility: They were very accommodating to a young man at the table next to us with a wheelchair
