Stone's Local Public House Bar • $
106 N Adams Ave, Fowler

“This bar is open. They only serve food tqo nighta a week. We went on Thursday night for the breaded tenderloins. Deep thick tenderloin with light breading. They offer normal or spicy, and both are very good. Sides include french fries or tator tots! Get the total! There are more tots than anyone could eat. You get to take half of them home. Again they are offered normal or spicy. They are somewhat limited on the toppings for the sandwich, such as lettuce, onions, pickles, mayo, ketchup and mustard. I suggest you bring your own tomato! All and all, a very good sandwich, good service, and friendly staff.“

Squeeze Inn Inc Bar • $$
126 E McConnell St, Oxford - 7.69 miles

“I returned to the old stomping grounds this past weekend, and was invited to meet friends at "The Squeeze." I hadn't visited there since it was purchased by its current owner just a few years ago, so was very interested to see how it had evolved. Cutting to the chase, I had a really good experience. Pros: Staff was very friendly, service was top notch, atmosphere was great, great assortment of beers, and prices were very reasonable, especially the food: Nice assortment of appetizers that were very good to excellent. We had the O-rings, fried green beans, fried shrooms, curly fries, and one of the group had a cheeseburger that he said was very good. It is a "Smoking" tavern, but I will say it didn't seem smoky to non-smoking me. Cons: It's not a huge space and they had a near-capacity crowd, so there was noise. But the owner did tell me they plan to expand. I highly recommend! Great local hangout. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.“

“Another great yelp! find. I was working in Boswell and decided to grab some lunch before I took off. There aren't many dining choices in town, but the reviews here were positive. It was after the lunch rush, so it wasn't too crowded. Bad Habits is your typical small town dive. As it is now non-smoking, the smoke odor is minimal. There are daily specials posted on a board by the bar.I opted for the double cheeseburger and fries. The burger quickly came out of the kitchen and looked amazing. There were slices of melted cheese on the large patties, along with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a while. The server mentioned they hand pat the fresh beef patties daily. It definitely looked and tasted that way.I will be paying more visits here. Bad Habits Bar and Grill may become my habit.“
