It has been several years and a few owners since I have been here. My wife and I decided to try it after all these years. My wife had the French dip. The meat was tender and very flavorful. The sandwich was big enough for two. I had the reuben. I am usually very skeptical about ordering reubens because they can be messed up easily. You usually get too much kraut or not enough, the corned beef can be very tough or the portion isn't enough and so on. The waitress said she always recommends them so I gave it a try. The sandwich had just enough of everything to make it delicious. The only complaint about the sandwich I have is that I like to have the dressing on the sandwich when it is grilled rather than served on the side. I probably could have asked but that's my bad. We also had the chips and queso. The chips were hot and fresh and the queso had just a little kick. The only issue we had with the whole visit was that the service was painstakingly slow, and I mean slow. The place was about half full and there was only one waitress. It took forever to get our appetizer, drinks, refills, etc. We weren't really pressed for time but didn't want to spend over an hour there either. I would go back but only if I was out that way.
Sadly,though we love the atmosphere,and the food is good....it is Overpriced,for what you get.We each had a sandwich,fries,1 coleslaw,and 3 pretzels w cheese....With 1 tall draft,and a coke was almost $57.00.$66.00 w tip.Rueben had no cheese.

The area where we sat, it felt as if we were going to slide off into the marsh. The floor is very uneven. The food and decor were good. Our waitress was great. We will be back.
