A small town hidden gem for German cuisine! We tried this place for the first time. Our server was upfront when he explained that food was prepared nearly from scratch and that it would be a bit of a wait. We appreciated his honesty, but we didn’t think it took that long anyway. We also walked in just before a party of 21 came in. The schnitzels were excellent. It was very reasonably priced as well. This place is worth the drive to Garrett. We’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I go there roughly once a month for the great German and Italian dinners, and the weekend dinner specials. The most recent WEEKEND SPECIAL was Schweinegeschnetzeltes (pork tips) " Swiss Style " w/ Spaetzle (a type of German noodle). I thought it was truly delicious, needed extra bread to finish up all the great sauce. Cleaned my plate off (literally). My wife is a more picky eater than I am, and she really loved it too. She usually wants to go there for the Lasagna and the German Meatballs. Yum, yum, yum.....

We were out with another couple. We all ordered a different entrée. All 4 meals delicious. Serving sizes are perfect. The waiter did a great job. Each couple split a dessert. Both delicious also.

Very cute place, and wonderful staff! A group of us filmmakers from L.A. came here and we had to go back a second time because the food was so delicious. The owner/chef is just as wonderful, and she even came out to chat with us. The food does take a long time to come out, but it's made with such love and care, it's worth it.

My dinner was very good. I had the big S dinner. My potato cake was delicious and cooked perfectly. My loin was sliced in a creamy sauce with mushrooms. It was very yummy. My dinner companion had the jager schnitzel. Her pork loin was dry and difficult to cut. The potato croquettes were mushy. We both had red cabbage which was delicious and we also had the clam chowder which was unlike any chowder I have ever had. The first thing I could taste was butter. It wasn't bad, just different.I was expecting a nicer restaurant, but it really just looks like a Diner. Our server wasn't very attentive and we ended up waiting 40 minutes for our food. I am not sure we will go back. I'm sad because there are no German restaurants any where near Fort Wayne.

First visit to Mino II. Got an omelet, and a side of gravy with fried potatoes. The gravy was flavorless, the toast was soggy. The potatoes were very crispy and the omelet was delicious. Coffee left a lot to be desired as well. All in all it was ok, I hope their specialty foods are better than the breakfast fare.
