Stopped in for a brisket sandwich, and damn it was good! Brisket was cooked excellent. Sliced, tender, lean and not dry. I think it’s a toasted ciabatta bun it’s on and it held up great for such a generous sized sandwich.The sauce.... fantastic! Thick and sweet Kansas City style. Very comparable imo to the famous kcbbq Joes/Cowtown sauce.Super polite and friendly staff with fairly priced bbq for the area.Definitely can’t wait to try other menu items!!

We arrived during the breakfast/lunch transition and decided to grab some lunch from Blacktop BBQ. Initially, the mac and cheese wasn't ready, so we decided tho come back and it was the best choice ever! We got the j*** chicken, which was EXTREMELY mild asking with double mac and cheese as the sides. To top it off, we got cornbread on the side. Portions were nice and the food was delectable. Thanks Chef Bellamy. You're the best!

I read about both trucks in the paper recently and tried both today after a bike tour of local landmarks with DecayDevils.org. They were fantastic! (The tour too!)At “Cracked The Egg Came First” I had a veggie egg sandwich and it was amazing! I see why this is a successful chain in Illinois. Try it. You’ll love it!Same at Blacktop BBQ. I had the brisket with greens and cabbage (Carry out for dinner tonight) and they were great!

Prolly would of taken a pic of the food for the review but I got really excited and decided to stuff my face. The rib tips were the most tender I've ever had max and cheese was good stopped and had a burrito the other day at 5am and it was amazing really quick service super nice people thank you guys.
