Parking is limited, not bad but not good either. Kind of a hassle to get in and out during the day. Bathrooms weren't as clean.

Cat ( Clerk 2071) is such an awesome employee. Very friendly. I wanted to purchase a tie dye hoodie and noticed that there were several threads unraveled and asked Cat if there was anyway I could have a small discount on it. She took the time to ask instead of just saying no, and I got $5 off. She was also very pleasant and not annoyed by my request whatsoever. She price checked an item for me also. I also got two pieces of pizza. When I went to pay, my debit card wasn't going through for some reason. I walked outside to call my bank and the issue was fixed. Cat told me she had put my pizza under the warmer for me so it wouldn't get cold. Excellent customer service and such a nice person!! I only go out of my way to write reviews for a specific person/employee when they are genuinely nice, have a great attitude, and care. Especially when they go out of their way to help me. Thank you, Cat! So nice of you to make sure my pizza didn't get cold. I can tell you really care about customers, and it is SO nice interacting with a genuine, friendly and caring person.

For this truck stop to be in Gary, Indiana it's actually not that bad but it definitely can be better, the truck parking is very limited but like most truck stops in the area that's common.

Dump...no way to say it nicely. Pulled up and inserted credit card and everything went to slo-mo. Finally went in and stood behind 8 others needing help. The manager was floating around and didn't know where to help. When I get to the front of the line they tell me to try a different pump. This place has a bunch of broken pumps so unless you are here for cigarettes, do yourself a favor and go across the street to the BP.

Dajl I think is the cashiers name! Very racist person! Every time a Hispanic came in she was calling them Carlos. When white people or Hispanics came in she was rude but flirted and was kind to black guys. During this time of our country going through racism, I think it was not right for her to do that. She had a very bad attitude and from the looks of the reviews many people have experienced this as well! We own our own trucking company and will never come back to this Pilot again!

Considering the entire country is in a state of crisis, truckers have no become targets and with rest areas being closed, truckers being forced to sleep wherever they can find space even in dangerous areas there's is a lady running ariund banging on trucks and still forcing them to pay to park when most truck stops have lifted their restrictions to accommodate the fact that they would have nothiNg not even a clipboard to wave at people if it weren't for truckers. I've never been one to try to skate on a service provide but as dangerous and important as our job is it would be nice if the places truckers spend so much money at were given a bit of a break in the current state of emergency instead of someone rolling around with a severe attitude as though we are inconveniencing her somehow. This review will be shared on other platforms as well Ps. They have 17 unpaid parking spot available online I just checked which means I'm not actually inconveniencing a paying customer this person at this establishment simply want the profit. Again I'm not beyond it and will pay because she threatened to tow me so this review will have to do.
