This review is about the beans they sell. The coffeeshop itself is a great experience with great baristas and drinks. However, I am a little peeved about the beans they sell. I always ask and they always tell me “we only roast light”. Yet, I’ve gotten two bags now that were definitely not light. One was medium and the other was medium-dark. It makes me wonder if they accidentally over-roast if they just sell it as “light” anyway instead of roasting a new batch. If they are going to charge $23 a bag, it needs to be perfect every time. Either toss out the darker stuff or slap a “medium” label on it, but after spending $23 it’s too disappointing to not get that light roast sometimes. (for reference I ALWAYS buy Ethiopia so the difference isn’t due to a different bean type).

They make the best caramel latte I’ve ever had. I drive from Warsaw once a week just to have a cup.

Great specialty coffee, great vibe, top notch service. The lavender honey latte is wonderful. Mild in flavor and not too sweet. They have oat milk available. Highly recommend!Edit: I returned to try their food and was disappointed. The bread they use is way too sweet for savory toppings.

A little bit echoey when most of the tables are full, but the coffee is excellent.

Ethiopian pour over was done well. Hard to hear others over music and ambient noise.

One of my favorite local coffee shops. Very friendly. It can be a bit loud and the serve size is a bit underwhelming (for the price). However, the taste is very good.

A great place to sit down. The coffee is delicious, not too expensive, and the owner and his staff are very kind.

The bourbon caramel latte with oatmilk was incredible! I do think the space could do with some color like some plants or local art since it feels a little cold inside but overall a lovely stop!

I had a business meeting scheduled for lunch at The Wholesome Tortilla in downtown Goshen IN. A remote-working friend found out, and asked if I would like to travel to Goshen early to work from a café — and we spent a couple hours or so at Embassy Coffee on Main St., across from the novel burger joint, Biebs & Ash.Embassy has a very open, modern space with plenty of outlets for plugging in and working remotely. While there, my friend had a cortado and I had a pour-over ... followed with a cortado. My pour-over was great, and it was from a coffee grown in Ethiopia, I believe. My cortado was also great — on the same level.*A cortado is a beverage consisting of espresso mixed with a roughly equal amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity. The milk in a cortado is steamed, but not frothy and "texturized" as in many Italian drinks. The cortado comes from Spain, but my first one, personally, was during a December 2017 visit to Viejo San Juan (Old San Juan), Puerto Rico.Again, the space of Embassy was refreshing for small town Midwest, and the service was more-then-great. As I was gettin' ready to leave, Embassy was quite busy, with plenty of plates going out of their kitchen — with variations of avocado toast being the most prevalent.Zero complaints! I'd love to go back. Before I left, I briefly chatted with the barista who seemed to be running circles, and she stated that she normally works at Sway Coffee in South Bend, but was asked to train and manage at Embassy. So, I assume there is some crossover as far as ownership between Sway and Embassy. She was wonderful and easy to talk to.Again, I will definitely go back — it was a great place to work remotely, especially in the early morning before it got busy. ...but cheers to them for getting so busy!

Embassy is one of my favorite coffee houses in Goshen, IN. I usually get the Caramel Bourbon Latte hot with either almond milk or whole milk because it is soooo good! The atmosphere is truly unique due to being simple, yet quite inviting with a variety of music playing. Do you like "hearts" and such in your coffee? Then you will be happy to know they do that for you. I have eaten there too, and their food is also a delight.

Really great coffee - our table had several latte variations and loved them all. We also shared a couple of sandwiches and they were super tasty. We will definitely be back.
