Every now and then I get a real hard craving for their biscuits and gravy. Love the fact they make the gravy from scratch and they actually put enough sausage in it that I have no problem calling it sausage gravy. Most places I've gone to call theirs sausage gravy but I have a hard time finding enough sausage in it to satisfy my tongue. I've been driving to Green fork off and on for 20+ years now, I don't intend on stopping any time soonParking: Not enough spaces when they are in rush hour.

Always good homemade food. Friendly staff. Absolutely love this little country diner. Can't imagine anyone but a snooty big city schmuck not liking this place.

Tiny little restaurant in a tiny little town with very good specials and prices for the food. If you're ever in the area check it out. Definitely would go back ?

the moment we walked in, one of the regular customers greeted us. And we certainly did not look like a local. The wonderful hostess and waitress greeted us. She is a dancer and scored high in competitions. We listened to the good old boys telling stories, the probably told a thousand times before. Gradually, they seemed to warm to us. The one fellow in his bib overalls came to the table to talk with us. Couild not have been more fun or friendly. Told us he sang the gospel choir after a few beers to get his courage up. I asked another fellow with his right arm in a sling, "What does the other guy look like?" He said, "Left arm." The food was fine but the company was the best. Being welcomed like that while on the road, is one of the great experiences of travel. You will never ever have an experience like that at Dennys. Thanks to every one of the good old boys (did not see a women, except our waitress) for a great experience. What a wonderful find.

We stopped here for lunch on our way from NC to IL. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The food was delicious and our server was spectacular. If you are traveling anywhere near it’s worth the extra 5 minute drive from the interstate! We will definitely eat here again if in the area.
