I moved here from Colorado a few months ago and have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, this was not it. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special, an order of steamed dumplings, and some lo Mein for my bf. My sweet and sour chicken was ok, except the sauce that came with it was a little too sweet. I also wasn't a fan of the fried rice it came with as it was definitely different than other places I've tried. My bf had me try some of his lo mein, and it was horrible. Very bland and noodles were definitely overcooked. For the price I paid, the food should have been top tier. I will sadly not be a returning customer. I will say the man working the register was friendly.

Food was delicious. I normally go to Egg Roll No. 1 on Smith Valley Rd but, they were closed and I needed some egg drop soup. After reading another contributors review on how it was the best she'd ever had I had to give it a try.It did not disappoint. ?The hot and sour soup was good as well. It had a bit more of a tang than others I've had. It would definitely be a good one to get if you were feeling sick. Along with the egg drop. The only reason the atmosphere got dinged was bc it isn't really a dine in place. Definitely carry out.I will say it was clean and the people were polite and friendly at all times.I've been there 3 times in less than 2 weeks.Parking: Not many parking spots, but people are in and out so quickly I've never had a problem getting a spot.

The food is amazing. The one thing I do not like is the new soy sauce in the red packets. If I could get the old stuff back that would be great. ?

It's the best American style Chinese food on the south south side of Indy. Read on for more details. We always get Chinese on Thanksgiving and watch Lord of the Rings. Turns out our normal place was closed this Thanksgiving. China Wok was the only Chinese place open out six places we called, and im so glad, because their food was great!I've lived in Greenwood most of my life and I've eaten at lot of Chinese food in Greenwood. Most of the places IMO are 2-3 stars at best. Eggroll #1 is a 4. China Wok is a solid 5 (for American takeout style Chinese). When I rate a Chinese takes out place im looking for freshness and quality of ingredients and overall consistency of the food s we ordered (are they all good or are some good and some bad?). We ordered $160.00 worth of food and I'm very pleased to report that it was all very good. The crab Rangoon...tasted like it might have been made in house, maybe the best crab Rangoon I've had on the south side. Everything tasted so fresh!Give this place a try. It seems like a family run establishment. They were very kind, helped me to my car with my order and had my huge order ready in about 20 minutes.See you around...I'll be eating there often.Vegetarian options: Almost every dish has a just vegetable option. Whether the options are "vegetarian" meaning made without using animal products, im not sure. They might be cooked in a chicken or beef stock.

Always a great place to stop by for a quick fix for my cravings of some white rice. I work very close so it's a great place to grab a quick bite to go. The person at the counter is very nice and I make sure to try and tip when I can.
