I had the shrimp Diablo. It was very good. Fresh baked bread. They gave me a bag lettus salad. This was disappointing. A short soak in salt water will remove that bag flavor. I wonder if they know many people can taste when it gets served straight from the bag. It takes away the quality of the entire meal. I guess even if you are paying more quality corners get cut. Too bad as this was one of the few remaining places on the Southside that really seemed to be better.

Food is made fresh and tastes delicious! The fufu is soft and amazing. The Attieke is the best i’ve ever had. Super nice staff. I definitely recommend to give this place a try!

This was my first time at this restaurant and I ordered the fufu, egusi and peppered goat soup. I'm so sorry but it wasn't good...the goat was tough..all of the meats was tough. The flavor wasn't too good either. Now before I go any further I'm Caribbean, Nigerian and Irish so I love my flavors and I know great food!

We had an amazing experience tonight. Although some items we wanted off the menu weren’t available; it didn’t matter. All suggestions from the owner/chef/waitress were fantastic. Plantains, all the rices, the okra, cassava, chicken wings, and pampano were exactly what I was wanting my first African food experience to be. So much flavor and just the right amount of spice. We will definitely be back and I can’t recommend this place enough.

I tried the beef stew and jollof rice, which was a perfect amount of spice and flavor.

My husband and I are new to the neighborhood and decided to try something different tonight. The owner is incredibly sweet and obviously puts a lot of care into the food. She recommended the Jollof rice, and I got it with chicken, my husband with goat. She catered to my preference for less spice and my husband with a spicier dish. The rice was delicious (made me think of a Spanish rice, but more flavorful), and my chicken was SO succulent. My husband's goat meat was so tender, it was falling off the bone. The owner let us know she's in the process of adding more items to the menu, including desserts! We will absolutely be back and recommending to friends in the meantime!

Got a bowl of Nigerian egusi from the restaurant and it’s so nice, I used it for a party and everyone likes the egusi, I’ve also tasted their fried fish and plantain and it’s really nice
