Friendly staff. Really cool decor. It was eclectic. The sweet corn casserole needed a bit of salt but otherwise good. The pulled pork was good too.

Server was nice and prompt. Reasons for only 2 stars....no beer. They let their liquor license expire. The brisket wasn't sliced but chopped. Not how brisket should be served. Was very dry. Jalapeño sausage was mushy on inside and casing was to chewy. Could barely cut. Sides were ok. Only good thing was the pork butt and sweet tea. Won't be returning.

Tucked away from the main road, it's definitely worth making the mini zig zag to get to it. I asked for recommendations and the pulled pork with medium BBQ sauce was excellent. The brisket with horseradish sauce was also great and the sides were green beans and cold slaw which paired perfectly with our meal. Make the effort to find this little gem! The price was reasonable for the amount of food we received and the establishment was clean and set up well.

We were doing some shopping in the area and seen your place!!! We decided to try them out and absolutely enjoyed our meals. Jackson was quick to answer all of our questions, super friendly and out going. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

We stopped by here for the first time today and we are so glad we did! The shredded chicken sandwich was piled high and NO fat at all. My husband got the brisket sandwich (which had a bit of fat) but yummy as well! The sauce I added was sweet and hubs was medium - both just right for us. The sweet corn casserole and mac n' cheese sides were delicious! Jackson was our server and such a nice young man. A definite to return to!!

Went on a Saturday and they had no meat! How does a bbq place have no meat? Waste of time

I chose this place for our Father’s Day lunch and I was hoping it would be good. We ordered nachos as an appetizer and it was good, we ordered a three meat combo with brisket, chicken and pulled pork. Both the chicken and the pork were dry as a bone, the brisket was undercooked. I have never had undercooked brisket before but I tried it today. There was no smoke ring, the color was a light tan, and the fat that was marbled in the meat hadn’t broken down yet. It was undercooked and very chewy. So disappointed. The only saving grace was the corn and the nachos. We won’t return.

Excellent BBQ and great serving sizes. I am used to being disappointed with high prices and small portions at BBQ restaurants, but Johnson's did not let me down. I had the sampler with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken with sides of mac and cheese and green beans. Service from Jackson was excellent as he took care of our group like an old pro though it was his first day serving. Would highly recommend.

Good food and great service- really enjoyed our dinner here and will definitely come again. The ribs and the brisket were especially good. The sauces were tasty and appreciated the variety. I will say, the baked beans seemed exactly like Bush's from a can, which was a bit of a let down. But otherwise it was all great!

Came here for my birthday today because I wanted to try the new location. Good bbq, good sauces, good old fashion soda, and (eventually) good beer. Well worth the money for the amount of food you get. Nice country atmosphere, friendly staff, but the seats are a little uncomfortable. They are steal and not a very wide seat, ask for a booth if available. There is another location in bargersville which is very nice and has a big back patio, self serve sauces, self serve sodas, and a lot of beers on tap as well as liquors. The bbq at this location could use a little more seasoning as the sausage tasted like it was only boiled not much flavor on the inside other than a very slight smoke flavor. GET THE JALAPENO CHEDDAR DOGS if you can, they are AMAZING; unfortunately they were out when we went. They also were out of sauce bottles and only had pints. Overall good food, and good amount for prices, cant wait to come back when it is completely finished.

We came in with a large party of 12 at 7:30. The staff was very friendly, prompt and helpful. They went out of their way to even give our kids Easter eggs. The food was fast and delicious too. We will definitely be back!

Ugh. I don't want to pile on a place that seems to be down. Sign on the door said they were out of: "all alcohol, jalapeños, jalapeño cheddar brats, peanut butter pie, cookies". Should've known it wasn't likely to be a good experience. That was the case. Got here around 6:30 pm. Four people inside. Empty. Our server was very nice. Ordered unsweetened tea, with lots of lemons. That's my usual. She brought the tea and said they were also out of lemons. So I ordered a hot link and nachos with brisket. Not much heat to the link at all. Maybe two ounces of shredded brisket that was dry. A ton of liquid cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream and scallions. Unspectacular nacho chips as the base. My buddy had a half rack of dry, overdone ribs and a forgettable side. We were literally in and out in less than 15 minutes. I hope this experience was an exception and not the rule.
